Hello there! My name is Vasilis and I am a jazz/rock/eastern traditional and classical guitar player, singer and songwriter currently studying as a 3rd year student in the Jazz and Pop guitar department of HKU conservatory. I am coming from Greece where I graduated from my first bachelor on classical guitar and the last three years I live, study, work and play in Utrecht.

My teaching career started very early, 12 years ago when my classical guitar teacher let me teach my first student and since then I have worked in multiple music schools and in private lessons with students of every age. This year I also started giving my first band coaching group lessons.

In my lessons I try to create a learning path that is formed arround the interests and taste of each student. Since I am a singer and songwriter the lessons can also focus on the creating part of music if of course the student is interested in that. I work with empathy and sensitivity arround the needs of each student.

As for my playing career, I play with multiple bands on original songs of mine or covers in different venues and festivals in Europe. The genres differ between pop, jazz, rock, eastern traditional and blues so I can give a big variety of stylistic directions to each student.

Last but not least, I am also a singer and because of my good performance in school, I was awarded from the HKU Conservatory the oportunity to follow the vocal curriculum of the school as well. So I can help you with singing too!

My name is Panagiotis and I am a guitar teacher/player. I have two bachelor degrees: Classical Guitar (Philippos Nakas Conservatory), Jazz&Pop Guitar (HKU Utrecht Conservatory). I have been teaching in music schools and giving individual lessons for the last 14 years. In 2017 I moved to Utrecht to continue my studies in jazz guitar at the Utrecht Conservatory and explore the Dutch music scene.I teach electric, acoustic, classical guitar and music theory. I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training, I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory classes for 6 years because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. The way I teach actually depends entirely on the student. The way I explain the concepts, plan and structure the lessons and approach each subject all depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, and whether he or she has some experience on the subject.

Each student has different needs and different abilities. It's just a matter of getting to know the student, in order to identify both the weaknesses and strengths on which to work.

Once upon a time, I was an aspiring academic, but longing for a more creative way to share my voice I started singing and quite I recently graduated form the Master of Music program direction Music Theatre. I know how arduous the artistic journey can be yet, we take it none the less, because we are all striving for this little moment of magic that arises when everything falls into place. For me, I saw this happening many times during a performance but also in coaching others and it gives me chills every time. And I would be honoured to help you pass on this little spark of magic to others!
