My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. I like using the CLT methond during my lessons. I have been teaching in a Gymnasium as an intern for the past 3 years and this method is the one that works best. I really like practicing the language in useful ways that the students can later on use in their daily lives.
I would provide the material for the lessons (no need for a book). I would create or print material when needed. I would also bring my laptop if something needs to be shown. It is handy for the student to have a notebook to keep track of all the work during the lessons.
