Drum lessons, learn how to play the drums, music theory etc.
I can provide you private drum lessons, that are tailored completely by your own interests, or I can advice you what would be efficient for you to improve, depending on where you stand with your experience and skills. We can together discuss about setting a goal, and start working your way towards it. You don't have to have previous experience in playing the drums. You can be an absolute beginner, intermediate, or more advanced student. I also teach all ages. Some things that we can go through in lessons: -Overall knowledge over the history of the drums -Tuning & setting up the drums -Posture & technique -Groove & timing. Playing with a metronome -Sound & dynamics -Different styles (jazz, soul, funk, hiphop, latin, pop/rock etc.) -Rudimental playing (classical etudes to improve your technique) -Reading, writing & transcribing drum notes/fills/solos etc. -Improvisation -Polyrhythms Everything is possible! :) You just need to show up, grab a pair of sticks with you, and we can see what interests you and we may go further.

Battery: Classes / internships / training / face-to-face and distance coaching
I offer my services (lessons, internships, training, coaching) to drummers of all levels, all musical styles and all geographic areas The first contact consists above all in discussing the desires and the desired axes of progression. For people wishing to opt for the classic format courses: Different packages with sliding scale tariffs are offered. For people wishing to go further: Intensive training / internship with pedagogy and personalized coaching, in order to give a big boost in technique, music theory (optional), but also on other aspects of the modern musician (home studio, stage ...). This is for any motivated and available drummer, at least 17 years old, wishing / wishing to improve or even professionalize, to become intermittent (e) or teacher of drums, to integrate one or more semi-professional or professional groups, to be versatile or to excel in their favorite style (s) ... For people wishing to learn at their own pace, without any scheduling constraints: System of distance learning videos (which can be accompanied by scores), relating specific themes at the request of the pupil (can possibly replace lessons or be complementary to them) For people who have not yet decided to get started on this instrument: Discovery course over several hours or even several sessions, in order to discover the world of drums (For more details on all these formats, contact me) In all cases, I adapt to each student on: - the form: I am flexible and can use alternatives to music theory for those who are resistant to it (for example, by making a video of the summary of what was seen, by re-explaining orally and by re-performing the exercises on the drums)) - the background: I always adapt to the wishes of the student if he knows what he wants The most important thing for me is to make things seemingly complicated -> simple to understand and to execute, while making sure that I direct the student in the direction he wants to take, and that he takes fun to learn The goal is to regularly cover pieces of music in order to put the things learned in a purely musical context. Regardless of the course chosen, I accept all means of payment, as well as CESUs. The latter is very interesting for the employer (yourself) because it will allow him to benefit either from a tax reduction, or from a tax credit if it is not taxable (50% of the amount courses in the year deducted from taxes or credited in taxes the following year)

Drums & Rhythm Lessons - in a͓̽m͓̽s͓̽t͓̽e͓̽r͓̽d͓̽a͓̽m͓̽
My approach to teaching drums is focused on developing a strong understanding of rhythm in general and applying it on the drum set. I will customise my teaching approach to your needs, depending on the level of your playing and your musical desires. I'll give my best in each lesson to guide you step-by-step into becoming a better musician/drummer. You can learn about: - Polyrhythms - Groove - Technique - Macro & micro timing - Drum sounds for different genres/applications - Controlling dynamics between different limbs - Rhythm singing (konnakol) - Reading complex musical notations - Composing mathematically harmonious/inharmonious rhythms And much more... Starting from beginner, up to experienced drummers. I'm also giving rhythm lessons to non-drummers, just to anyone interested in getting to know more about the rhythmical concepts of South India - the most advanced rhythmic system on planet Earth!

Alec
Drum Teacher available for technical and motivational lessons online
If you want to know not just about drum techniques and playing, but also about its history and musicianship, you'll definitely have a unique experience with my lessons. I believe drumming is not just about playing and knowing your chops, but also about being able to listen to others in the band and make sure you "be" part of the music, without resorting to thrashing around and proving to others what kind of noise you can make. Hence the phrase "A band should be as good as its drummer". :) Drumming is undoubtedly a way of building up your self-confidence, in order to establish your identity. The drums are a great use to channel your emotions, so long as you don't have to pull a Keith Moon. ;) I can also add keyboards to the mix.... But why is it relevant for a drummer, you may ask? Well, although it may look the contrary from the outside, having an ear for other instruments and chords is absolutely essential, because both your drumming nd ability to improvise contributes to the atmosphere of each song. If you want to know more, do please get in touch. I look forward to rocking out with you! :)

Adults are of course also welcome! :) The studio is located in Amsterdam - Schinkelbuurt with two professional drum kits and sound system. The lessons can also be followed via ZOOM. I play in several bands myself and will be able to transfer the experience I brought to different genres in the following techniques: - Stick technique - Brushes - Creativity - Hand technique - Improvisation - Timing - Relaxed position - Drum notation - New fills - Grooves I have performed in many different cities with my bands. We were also in the final of the Rob Acda Award last year and we have a lot of airplay at KINKFM. I will also occasionally invite another musician (s) if the need arises so that you can learn to play with them. Playing along with other musicians you learn to master your own instrument!

Drum classes for drummers with Rohan
Drum classes - My teaching method is to understand and act specifically with what that particular student wants to know and what he is thinking. This is a single instrument on which there are many perspectives from different people. I will cover ( stick holding, body posture, tuning, rudiments, metronome playing, time signatures, rhythmic vocabulary and many more topics.) I prefer one on one classes more to know my students better at what they want and to learn.

Lovers of rhythm, song and percussion of the world, you are at the right address! The universe of rhythm and drums of the world attracts you ... you are novice or want to improve, you are looking for workshops in private or group lessons, ... Welcome! Multi-percussionist on stage and in the studio, teachers and performers for twenty years, I offer introductory or advanced modules to percussion from around the world, for adults, teenagers and children and whatever your level. (individual, group and internship courses) The educational objective makes it a point of honor to explore general notions, developmental points and instrumental techniques, depending on the chosen instrument, the cultural context associated with it and your feelings. My approach is to allow you to establish an intimate contact with your own dynamics of play, by listening and reproduction, by opening the channels of the sensitive, to find and make vibrate the musicality that is in you and to transmit this direct experience , in condition of interpretation. Percussion lessons always involve several instruments and levels: For all levels: congas, bongos, bata drums, cajon, bendir and tär (frame drums), djembe, dundun, drums and minor percussions (accessories: shaker, triangle, karkabou ... And also for novices & intermediates: Indian tablas Point essentially addressed for a musical and psycho-sensory immersion work: the roles of rhythmic instruments in contemporary, ethnic and scholarly music, and the metrics of each musical current. the strokes specific to each instrument and a playful rhythmic solfeggio (visualization, learning and interpretation of rhythmic sequences by writing and / or voicing) the poly-rythmie around current musics and world music (African, Caribbean, Indian and oriental traditions): simultaneous combination of rhythmic cells, sometimes of different size, to form a rich, well-rounded and harmonious phrase. groove and inner pulsation (or inner partition) guided improvisation and discovery of one's own interpretive fiber. orchestration or arrangement of instrument families in an orchestra. the song and the breath, the setting in voice and in space of the rhythm, to refine the sensory language of an adequate dynamic gesture. I provide on request personal work media (CDs, scores, videos). Apart from stage music, I also work for live shows (storytelling, theater, circus, pantomime, contemporary dance ...), documentary film and audio-visual. I frequently intervene in musical awakening for early and middle childhood (maternity hospitals, schools, leisure centers) and also in specialized settings (day hospitals, IME) and at home, as part of mediation actions in art. therapy. Hoping to share with you my passion for teaching and the melody of rhythm. Stéphane Musically !

★ Drums lessons ★ Introduction to rhythm + Development of rhythmic creativity for any instrument ★ Musical theory ★
*** Course content *** I offer 3 different types of lessons: ★ Drum lessons Whether you are a beginner or already have experience with the instrument, together we can find the elements and styles that interest you and that you want to work on. ★ Rhythm lessons (also for toddlers!) Both theoretical and practical, these courses aim to present very concrete tools to develop your rhythmic feeling as well as your creativity on the instrument! We can also analyze the songs you like, understand their structure, decipher scores, etc. We can also together approach or deepen the notions of polyrhythms, polymers, asymmetric measures, and discover where they are located and how they are used in the music you like, and why not try to reproduce them on your instrument! -> I also offer introductory rhythms workshops for young children! Dances, songs and guided body percussions, manufacture of small instruments that the child can reproduce at home, "rhythmic tales & stories", etc. ★ Music theory lessons (music theory) Here, I propose to help you in your learning of the theoretical concepts of music. ***Methodology*** Combining practice and pleasure on the instrument is essential in my opinion, but I remain very flexible and of course adapt according to your desires! I think it's important to establish with you a framework that we can constantly rethink; find a way of operating that suits you as much in form as in substance, whether your goals are to achieve higher levels of playing, precision, speed, creativity on the instrument or whether it is a desire lighter, such as learning to play songs you like. Everything is possible ! :-)
