This class can introduce you to Spanish or develop skills that may already be in place. Either way all students will leave with a honed ability to listen, read, write and speak in Spanish. This class is ideal for GCSE and A Level students, or even just casual learners who desire to wield the Spanish language.

I am a calm and organised tutor with dozens of teaching methods at my disposal. I will tutor you in a way that you choose as to get the best possible results from methods you are familiar with. There is no hierarchy in my lessons I am simply sharing what I have already learnt with you. I am 19 and a student of Law, I know how stressful learning can be and I will not add to it with my lessons.

I'm Alice, 22 and recently graduated with a First Class degree in French and Linguistics from the University of Leeds. I spent the third year of my degree living and working in France, completing two internships and doing some private English tutoring too. I would love to share what I've learned over these 4 years to help other students!

I am offering tutoring in the following areas:

- English Language (GCSE/A-Level)
- Linguistics (sociolinguistics, language, and gender, language and power, discourse analysis)
- English as a foreign language (ESL)
- French culture (specialist in French film and cinema)
- Gender studies (throughout my degree I have specialized in gender and feminist approaches: feminist linguistics, feminist film theory, feminist philosophy, etc)

My classes are ideal for students at any level! Whether you're an A-Level student looking for some help with the English Language coursework or an adult wanting to delve into the world of linguistics, I adapt my classes to YOU and YOUR goals! My approach is student-centered, prioritizing what you want out of your classes, making for a fun and relaxed learning atmosphere. I like to use current examples in my teaching to make the subject relevant and to really engage students. I also respond to student's learning styles (visual, verbal, aural, etc) and use this to their advantage, bringing out student's full potential.
I am also open to emails and discussion between classes- learning isn't just in the classroom!

Bespoke to your needs. Learn conversational English or English for school exams. Can teach French from beginner to advanced and Spanish up to GCSE. Can focus on spoken, listening, reading or grammar- this can be tailored to your individual needs. I am a first class graduate from the university of Edinburgh in French.

I am a specialised translator with several years of experience learning languages across all levels of the UK education system and I can provide any level tuition for these languages (up until A-level) or general learning opportunities for any age.

Languages can be learned at any age, to any level! Let me replace duolingo!
