Psychology GCSE and A Level tutoring sessions and exam prep.

I am a friendly and dedicated psychology tutor, I offer online tuition on weekday evenings. I like to begin by working with you to get to grips with your strengths and areas of weakness in our first session. Once this is established we would revisit material you have covered in your lessons to make sure you have a clear understanding, (I do provide worksheets and resources to support this and focus on meeting your unique learning needs and style) I put a particular emphasis on evaluation as this is an area most students struggle and is vital to achieving well in exams, you would learn strong skills in this area. I do set some basic tasks in between sessions that help support our next lesson and I also mark and give feedback on your essays and exam papers during our sessions using my knowledge as an examiner. If you have questions about the sessions please contact me for further information.

(e.g. tables, graphs, etc..) ▷ R, SPSS, and theory lessons I have a large collection of data and exercises for R/SPSS on various concepts from basics to more advanced analysis including: ✅Descriptive Statistics (like statistical scales, mean, median, standard deviation...) ✅t-test ✅Correlations ✅Regression Analysis, Moderation, Mediation, Logistic Regression etc. ✅ANOVA, ANCOVA, ANOVA repeated measures, Mixed Models ✅Statistical Machine Learning So, from simple statistical assignments to analyzing data for your thesis, I would be happy to help!

IGCSE & IB business management and Sociology/Psychology and
As a previous IGCSE & IB student graduate I understand the stress and difficulty in preparing for both the Mid-terms and End of year exams. The curriculum provided for both subjects will be based on deconstructing the theory into smaller sections which are then each focused on key vocabulary and factual information. Additionally, for each subject a clear essay structure for exams will be outlined and practised based on IGCSE & IB grading criteria. Dependent on how close the student is too their final or mid-term exams lessons will be personalized to improve on their limitations and conjointly a structured summary will be created to optimally succeed in their exams. Previous grades: IGCSE: Business Studies: A Sociology: A* IB: Business Management HL: 7 Psychology HL: 6

Doctor of Psychology based in London, UK, offering Psychology, Statistics, SPSS and Chess lessons online
I am a Doctor of Psychology and researcher. Since October 2016 I have been successfully tutoring many B.A. and M.A. and Ph.D. level students and professionals who required help with Psychology (AS, A-level, and Degree level), Data analysis, SPSS, jamovi, JASP, R, Statistics, Research Methods, or were looking for assistance with their research projects/ theses/ dissertations. I am specialised in Clinical Psychology (reading disability/ dyslexia), although I have good knowledge in other fields of psychology, as well as research methodology and data analysis (expert in SPSS). I would love to help students with the knowledge I have in individual live one-to-one sessions online via Skype/Zoom. I can also recommend literature on a particular subject and send something I already have in my database. Additionally to psychology, I am teaching chess. I have 28 years of experience playing chess, I am a candidate master of Latvia, having an international (FIDE) rating of 2063, and an English Chess Federation rating of 2125, which is quite a good level. I am especially good at blitz and rapid. My greatest achievement is 1st place in English Open Women & Girls Rapid Championship in 2019. I have around 8 years of experience teaching chess to juniors and adults. I have been tutoring many students across the UK and have helped them to progress in chess and some of them gained great achievements in the tournaments and were qualified for the next competitions. I can teach basic concepts, moves, strategies, and tactics for beginners and help to improve the game technique of intermediate or advanced players, suggesting theory, ideas, and winning game plans.

Psychology graduate teaching psychology for all levels! Personalised methods for all your needs!
I have taught high school students Psychology, and it is a learning experience for me as well. The subject might sometimes come off as too "theoretical" or "boring", but with the right instructor it can turn into the most interesting subject ever! I believe in teaching using dialogue as it helps give the student more autonomy over the material and dialogue helps them engage. I do not believe in rote memorisation as it leads to no good and just helps with word vomit in exams, which is not helpful to anyone. Education should be an enriching experience and not one which you dread. Therefore I also make it a point to use methods which caters to the needs of the student rather than how I would like to teach because at the end of the day I am there to make learning a fun experience for them rather than a convenient one for me. My interest in psychology was sparked over one class with the right teacher and I am hoping I could do the same for you. I absolutely love teaching as it teaches me things too, and I hope I can make it worthwhile for my students as well.

Visual Storytelling, From an idea to a script to an AV production
Stories are as old as we are, but if you want to put a story on paper or portray a story, it turns out to be more difficult than talking to your friends. How about now? Not what you tell, but HOW you tell it is the most important. The basics and how to use psychology to write a story, this is what you will learn anyway. Those who want to continue afterwards will learn how to write a script. Fiction or facts, you decide what you want to learn.

Undergraduate Psychology Tutoring from a Russell Group Teaching Associate
I am an experienced Psychology tutor, with a doctorate in Psychology, and teaching experience since 2015 across two Russell Group universities. Through Apprentus, I offer: - One-to-one tutorials across a wide range of topics in undergraduate psychology. - Assistance with essay and coursework writing skills. - Tutorials on how to run statistical tests and tackle practical reports. I currently teach on a research methods and statistics module, however, I have substantial experience in assigning, marking and moderating examinations, essays and research reports across many areas, including clinical psychology, developmental psychology, neuroscience, perception and statistics. This has given me a deep understanding on how to succeed across the whole spectrum of assessments in undergraduate psychology. I offer a particular focus on essay and practical report writing skills, as I am keenly aware of how integral these skills are to achieving a high grade at this level. Additionally, for anyone who is currently struggling to 'gain their footing' at university-level, we can spend time discussing exactly how to get to grips with your classes, course material, revision and assignments - "learning how to learn" is a vital building block for your university success. Psychology is a fascinatingly broad subject, and I will tailor my tutorials to suit your needs.

School of Choices - Orientation of Life by a controled choice (school, professionnal, life, psy, etc...)
The course is dedicated to children from 8-10 to young adult till 30. Main patient/student are typically overrepresented female 15-25, filling lost (sometime depressed) by a missing life project (Professionnel, Education or Personnal). *STEP 1* After a fisrt discussion, about the current situation, issues ( incl addiction, psychiatric errance diagnostic, ADHA, Anxiety disorder, or something mental that prevent you to escape from a mind circle) I give my first impression regarding my background. Then, according to the suspected issue, this must be confirmed by other professionnal if needed, from psychologist to neurologist, from psychological objective measuring (test) to psysiological analysis (blood, brain waves, psychotropic issue, etc...) *STEP 2* Whatever is the issue, many choice can address it. Toogether, we establish the "scope of choice". I will fight against your auto-censorship to consider possible choices regarding your native skills (soft skills). NO CHOICE AT THIS STEP. The scope of choice MUST be as wide as possible, considering even what you did consider as out of option. *STEP 3* Me alone, or toogether, I create a tree choice. The question will be transformed to questions, with only 2 choices, at each step *STEP 4* Let's check what's at the end of the pyramid (potentially several choice) *STEP 5* Action plan *STEP 6* Action (with support if needed) *STEP 7* Failed ? Go to STEP 4 an try again *STEP 8* Thank a divinity if you beleive in it as it give you the force, and please, thanks me I did contributed for a better life. The money is nothing comparing to interhuman recognition. That is the true value, for 5000 years... Unfortunately forgoten nowadays...
