About Me

My earliest recollection of history was my grandparents explaining eras such as the Blitz and the Terracotta Army, leading to a natural curiosity, that I guess I am still trying to fill with my current degree.
When I am not attending University, I spend my time playing games and reading. I have always taken an interest and gravitated towards helping others, and I strive to help you overcome whatever obstacle may be causing you issues in your education.

Education

Current undergraduate at Queen Mary's University of London.
Studied at Dartford Grammar School from 2015 - 2022 taking and passing both my GCSEs and International Baccalaureate.

Experience / Qualifications

I have had a range of experience teaching ranging multiple age groups. From tutoring family friends through their SAT's, journalism to my peers from year 7 to year 13, to leading Dartford Grammar's technical team for three years, it is safe to say that I have numerous years of experience.

Oxbridge (Oxford and Cambridge) Application Preparation and Entrance Exam Support (Humanities) in Tallinn
The term "Oxbridge" is a collective term that refers to the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, the two oldest, wealthiest, and most exclusive educational establishments in the United Kingdom. Both are regularly listed amongst the top universities in the world and entry is correspondingly difficult. The notoriously tough process consists of personal statements, references, interviews, aptitude tests and more. As a recent graduate of the University of Oxford, I am well-versed with the admissions process and have personally experienced the challenges and requirements of gaining admission to these universities. Furthermore, my successful academic background in the humanities has given me a strong foundation to guide students through the rigorous academic expectations that they will encounter when they arrive at their dream university. I am passionate about helping students reach their academic goals. In my time at Oxford, I was an active member of the access community which sought to mentor prospective students. As part of that, I worked with students of all abilities from all over the United Kingdom, providing seminars, lectures, mock interviews and coaching. I was particularly praised for my teaching style and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. Whilst I offer a structured course for those who want it, which covers the most important aspects of the application process, my tutoring service is bespoke and I am available to provide individual sessions focusing on the areas of your choice. Each session is tailored to the needs of my students. Whether you require the A-Z course, or individual lessons, I will collaborate with the student to devise a plan of action that will give them the best chance to meet their goals. The Course: The Oxford Entrance Preparation Course is designed to prepare students for the rigorous admissions processes of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. It aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and guidance to support them in their applications. Students will gain a deep understanding of the universities, the application process, and what it is like to study at Oxbridge. The course will focus on the key academic and personal qualities that Oxford looks for in its applicants, and how students can develop and showcase these qualities. Requirements: There are few specific prerequisites for this course, but students should have a good command of the English language, a genuine interest in attending the Universities of Oxford or Cambridge, and a passion for studying. It is recommended that students have a very strong academic background, but a good academic background does not necessarily exclude the student from making a successful application. N.b. I cannot guarantee that you or your child will get accepted into Oxbridge (this is subjective and, every year, thousands of deserving students make unsuccessful attempts) but we'll work together to make sure you stand the greatest possible chance of making a successful application.

MIDDELBAAR VAKKEN: GESCHIEDENIS, AARDRIJSKUNDE, ENGELS, FRANS, HUMANE RICHTING

Spanish as a foreign language classes: culture, language and history of Latin America
Spanish is not only my mother tongue but also my passion. I would like you to discover with me the language, culture and gastronomy of Latin America. I give private, online or group classes of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE). My classes are personalized and are created according to the needs of my students. I am fun, spontaneous and dynamic. My methodology is based on the communicative approach. However, I also apply other approaches depending on my students. I can also apply the Flipped-Classroom approach, learning by doing, among others. Everything will depend on the needs of my students. In addition, I use a variety of teaching materials. I help my students increase their vocabulary, improve their listening comprehension, refine their pronunciation through conversation and exercises adapted to their level. It should be noted that I speak other languages (English, German, French and some Chinese). This helps me to identify the common difficulties my students may have with their mother tongue. I offer Spanish classes for all levels (basic, intermediate and advanced). If you wish to learn or strengthen your knowledge of Spanish, do not hesitate to contact me and together we will be a great team with the aim of enabling you to communicate in Spanish.

This class varies, either you're hear to learn or to just speak about whichever topic excites you. Within this class what we'll be looking at are the things revolving around western culture with regards to English. Whether it be from us watching a sitcom or speaking of the political wrongs; the class is about being comfortable with the language itself and whatever you want to discuss/learn. Everyone is welcome.
