Als professionele violiste heb ik mijn hele leven gereisd over de wereld on op te treden en opnames te maken. Ik vind het geweldig om les te geven aan mensen van alle leeftijden en niveaus. Ik ben een solist van het Antwerp Symphony Orchestra en andere orkesten in België en Nederland. Ik ben al jaren lang viool professor aan het Maastricht Conservatorium en geef auditie training aan jonge professionals.

I am a professional violinist in modern violin. At the moment I am doing a specialization in baroque violin and early music. Therefore in my lessons we can work repertoire from the XIV century until XX century, delving into the specific characteristics of each period. I can also help to prepare the violinist who wants to do the entrance exams for the baroque violin.
In addition, I have also taken several courses in methods and didactics and I have also worked with students of all ages, so I have a lot of experiences in the process of starting the violin as a new instrument. I know classical music in its different styles from the 16th century to the 20th century, and I also have experience in the interpretation and teaching of Latin American music and improvisation.
My classes will be focused on deep learning of the instrument and its interpretation, but we will also find the fun part and we will make this time as enjoyable as possible.

My teaching method is flexible, as I can give lessons for a specific purpose (passing an exam, passing a test...) as well as working with people who are just looking to learn an instrument as a hobby.

I have experience teaching children from 6 years old up to adults. Depending on the age and the goal you want to achieve with the classes, the lessons can be between 30 and 90 minutes long.

I not only give lessons based on my method, but I can also reinforce students who already have a teacher to help them to achieve the work that the teacher has imposed on them by adapting to their way of working.

Ik heb opleidingen gevolgd in verschillende Europese landen en heb een bachelor- en masterdiploma in performance. Daarnaast heb ik les gevolgd via masterclasses en festivals van bekende internationale artiesten.

Als orkestmusicus heb ik opgetreden met diverse nationale orkesten in Europa, waaronder ensembles uit België, Tsjechië, Spanje en andere landen. Momenteel ben ik actief als kamermusicus en orkestmusicus.
