I am passionate about making sure musicians such as myself are armed with the right tools and know-how when it comes to music, and I believe that knowledge of music theory is essential for this. Although I play guitar and bass, I'm a drummer first and foremost, and knowing music theory has elevated my ability to be a better writer and bandmate to an extent that cannot be put into words.

I will make our lessons engaging, interesting and relevant to your instrument, as I feel a lot of music theory tuition is often too cut-and-dry and alienates a lot of musicians, especially beginners. I really hope that I will be able to help you with your music theory and composition journey!

The guitar is undoubtedly one of the most popular instruments of the modern age. It is so versatile and used in many genres ranging from classical music to Death Metal and even Electronic Music.

I will teach you the basics of playing the guitar, and I'll spice it up later with my experience in composition and songwriting. We will learn by example through the famous songs that shaped our understanding of the guitar. Whether you prefer singer-songwriter-style songs, or thrash metal we'll get there together.

I will teach mainly using the guitar tablature format, we can do sheet music which is generally unneeded for anything besides classical, but I will need to refresh my music sheet reading skills as I haven't had to read any in the last 10 years.

Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years.

My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. With determination and hard work, significant progress can be made in a year, allowing one to play simple melodies.

My goal isn't to make you read a manual, but to make you self-sufficient with FL Studio as quickly as possible. I teach the practical techniques I use daily to create tracks that sound "professional".
