I am a professional violinist. I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in violin from the Conservatory of music 'Alessandro Scarlatti' in Palermo. I also took a course in chamber music at Université de Montréal.

I teach students of all ages and levels.
I have 3 years of teaching experience in Italy and Germany ( privately and at music schools ).

In my lessons, I support students in building a strong connection with their instrument and nurturing a positive bond with music. By focusing on developing listening skills, rhythmic awareness, and effective use of the body, I help them unlock their musical creativity. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing.

Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing.
We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis.
We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them.

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.

In my Chinese lessons, I will guide you step by step through the HSK 1 to HSK 3 textbooks. Each lesson focuses on understanding vocabulary, grammar, and sentence patterns in a practical way, with plenty of examples and speaking practice.
