In my Chinese lessons, I will guide you step by step through the HSK 1 to HSK 3 textbooks. Each lesson focuses on understanding vocabulary, grammar, and sentence patterns in a practical way, with plenty of examples and speaking practice.

I always check your understanding during the lesson and make sure you feel comfortable before moving on to new material. After each class, I give homework to help you review and strengthen what you’ve learned.

My goal is to help you build a strong foundation in Mandarin, improve your pronunciation, and gain confidence in real conversations. Lessons will always be adjusted to your goal.

I was born and brought up in China. I came to the Netherlands after my master study in Beijing and worked as researcher at Utrecht University and later as teacher at Erasmus University. I specialize in teaching Mandarin Chinese to both absolute beginners and advanced-level students. I am a professional full-time Chinese Mandarin teacher from the North of China where Mandarin comes from.
I have been teaching for about 10 years as a teacher. I have my own school and website for studying Chinese. Students' ages are from 3 to adults. They are from all over the world. You can study with me online / come to my office /Go-home lessons. Classes can be one-to-one or group classes.

I have been helping numerous people learn to speak Chinese and do exam HSK. Children always have fun learning Mandarin with me. I grew up and had educations in China. I moved to Europe for teaching Chinese in 2019 Nov.
I am fun, active, very patient, and responsible. I have never come late to all of my classes for more than 10 years.
For children's classes, I prepare songs, videos, cartoons, teaching, and explaining at the same time, They learn really fast and never feel bored when they are excited with a fun teacher and materials. I believe that interest is the best teacher. So I try my best to prepare before classes and send materials after classes to students.

Chinese is one of the most spoken languages in the world. There are 1.39 billion Chinese speakers in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and worldwide Chinese communities, with 1 million new learners each year. Learning Chinese has become increasingly important these years due to China's economic growth and expansion of the Chinese market, which could create more business opportunities. Also, Chinese is a beautiful and necessary language for Chinese culture enjoyers to understand Chinese culture through the letters and patterns in the Chinese Language.

This class aims to teach Chinese to A1 to B1 level learners. Practice papers will be provided accordingly to teach the students effectively. We will start by learning the pinyin (romanization of Chinese vowels and alphabet), then identify Chinese words, form simple phrases, learn new vocabulary, use grammatical tenses, and learn simple literary devices to form more complex sentences.
