Hallo! Duits is zeker geen gemakkelijke taal, maar zelfverzekerd kunnen communiceren in het Duits zal je enorm helpen, zowel persoonlijk als professioneel. Hi! My name is Joana and I am originally from Luxembourg. Growing up in Luxembourg allowed me to be fluent in our three national languages: Luxembourgish, French and German (Native Proficiency).
After graduating from high school with a specialisation in modern languages and humanities, I moved to the United Kingdom to study Journalism. Living in London for over three years allowed me to perfect my written and spoken English. Since I've been 16, I have been giving private tutoring lessons both to primary and secondary school students.

I currently teach the following subjects:

Ik geef al meer dan 5 jaar Italiaans les en ben gewapend met een dubbele graad in Talen, plus niet één, maar twee Masters! 🎓 🇮🇹 En hier is de kers op de taart: ik ben net begonnen aan een nieuwe Master in het Onderwijzen van Italiaans aan Buitenlanders aan de Ca' Foscari Universiteit.

Op dit moment heb ik een geweldige groep van 10 terugkerende studenten die samen met mij leren (sommigen individueel, anderen in kleine groepen of koppels), elk met specifieke doelen, behoeften en motivatie. En ik kijk ernaar uit om jou te ontmoeten!

We beginnen met het beoordelen van je niveau, doelen en behoeften. Samen stellen we een persoonlijk plan op, zodat je leerervaring op maat, efficiënt en effectief is. De lessen worden aangepast aan jouw individuele niveau, behoeften en doelen. Afhankelijk van jouw voorkeuren gebruiken we tekstboeken, online tools of artikelen, onder andere.

Mijn aanpak omvat verschillende aspecten zoals conversatie, vocabulaire, grammatica, Italiaanse cultuur of examenvoorbereiding.

Non-Violent Communication is een methode die is uitgevonden door Marshall Rosenberg. Het richt zich op gevoelens en behoeften, het helpt empathie te ontwikkelen en duidelijker te communiceren. Ik kan je de 4 stappen (Observatie, Gevoelens, Behoeften, Verzoek) leren en je helpen deze te oefenen en je ondersteunen in een moeilijke situatie.

Détenteur d’un troisième cycle en diplomatie et relation international et diplômé de l’institut franco américain de design et stylisme . Et ancien responsable de la cooperation universitaires au sein de l’ambassade France et séminariste au nation unis à New-York ainsi que conseiller en orientation professionnel auprès d’organismes publics et privés Je propose aux futures stagiaires une formation sur la prise de parole en publiques, travailler l’intonation de la voix, la gestuelle et la prise de possession de l’espace. Ainsi que le coaching vestimentaire pour apprendre à s’habille selon sa morphologie et adapter sa tenue vestimentaire aux différentes occasions qui se présente. Avec accompagnement aux magasins d’essayages.

I'm of mixed French and Polish origins and I've been living in Paris for many years. I hold a PhD degree in French Literature from Sorbonne University and I've been teaching French and English since 2013. During my class, you will learn how to communicate effectively - and in order to speak, you'll need to practice! I have a passion for French culture, literature, music, film and theatre, and I believe that it's through culture and experiencing the language directly in everyday life that you really immerse yourself in a language. I train also for exams and DELF/DALF. Apart from this, I work as a tour guide specialised in French medieval architecture and a week-end trip to Paris (sightseeing included!) can be planned during the course to immerse in French language, cinema, food and beautiful Parisian museums.

Practicing French in French boulangeries, restaurants and bookshops in Amsterdam can be planned as well. If you're interested in more than practicing speaking and pronunciation skills, we can alternate the grammar/writing classes (held at home) and conversation classes (held anywhere!). We'll use news, social media, Netflix and much more. À bientôt !

As a student who graduated from the European School, I have gained a lot of knowledge in different languages. Having learnt Greek, German, English, French, and even a bit of Italian, I have become familiar with the ways and mechanisms of teaching a language. I have always been passionate about writing and believe a lot in the importance of writing abilities to help individuals mentally, and the same counts for speaking and reading. Language is a form of self-expression that is of utmost importance to life, and I believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn these skills.

Additionally, as a political science student at the University of Amsterdam, I offer help with history and sociology lessons, having studied both these subjects with a lot of passion for many years.

I am a very patient person and approach these lessons with excitement and a lot of joy, but most importantly, with passion. Seeing people grow in their skills is very important to me, especially seeing how happy they are with themselves.
