Singing is a universal language. Everyone loves to sing, whether you are good at it or not. In this lesson you will learn to use your own voice better. Whether you've been singing for 10 years or are completely new to singing. With warm-up exercises I teach you your vocal techniques and we apply them at the end of the lesson in the song that you like to sing. We will talk about breath support and flow, ringing, the sound of your voice and how to use it, etc. But in addition, these lessons are mainly about having fun and discovering your voice! I graduated from the Conservatory in Arnhem (ArtEZ) in 2013. Since then I have been working as an actor, singer and pianist (mostly theater). In addition to playing always been active as a teacher. My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run.
