About Me

I am a passionate Mexican musician with a rich and versatile background. Trained at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), I continued my studies in Europe and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in recorder performance at the Geneva University of Music.

Alongside my work as a flautist, the guitar plays a significant role in my musical practice, particularly in contemporary music, pop, rock, and jazz. I have developed an open approach based on listening, improvisation, and the joy of playing.

I have been teaching for several years to students of all ages and levels, in individual lessons as well as workshops. I speak Spanish, French and English, and I adapt to each student with kindness, curiosity and musical rigor.

Education

I hold a bachelor's degree in recorder from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). I am currently pursuing a master's degree in performance at the Geneva University of Music (HEM).

In parallel, I studied electric guitar for several years, with a particular focus on jazz and contemporary music. I also took specialized courses in Strasbourg, France, which enriched my artistic and pedagogical development.

I teach both guitar and recorder, which allows me to take a broad and complementary pedagogical approach. As a violinist: I am currently a student at the Geneva University of Music, after having followed the pre-professional course at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève. During my career, I won several prizes such as the Vatelot Rampal competition in Paris and the Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland soloist, and string quartet (alongside Julie Berthollet in particular). I also attended the Indianapolis University Academy summer internship.

As a Pedagogue: in addition to sporadically giving individual lessons for 4 years, I was part of the "Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland" youth and youth internship team for three consecutive years.
