About Me

I am currently on my year abroad in Madrid to improve my Spanish. My Spanish is already at an advanced level after spending 3 months a year in the south of Spain but I am here to learn more.
I am a 20 year old French and Spanish student from the north of England. I am extremely personable, very patient and hard working. I am very mature and I love to see people succeed and grow.

Newcastle University. I have also achieved all of the necessary qualifications leaving school in England. I received very good marks in my exams; one being in my Spanish oral exam, I received 98%.

Both English and German are very important languages to speak in an ever-evolving international world. I am half Austrian, half English and can help you improve your conversation skills in both of these languages. Depending on your language level, we will start with basic every day conversations. Further on, we will read book excerpts or newspaper-articles (or whatever interests you) on different topics and discuss them, thus learning new vocabulary and important expressions. The student will be able to see different places in the capital of Spain without leaving the classroom and learn Spanish. My learning idea is based on interactive activities between my student and me, with word games, card games to improve the syllabi. I will also bring printed exercises for the denser syllabi and for reading comprehension activities in Spanish. We will see a text in which different topics will be discussed and the student must understand what each paragraph says. For this last exercise, I will use the texts and printed images from my printed edition of Guía de Madrid.

This course suggests that we enter a level of English that allows you to deal with your personal life and your professional life. Furthermore, the idea is to be able to talk about the media, to function in different environments. It is also important in this course to think about eating. How nice it is to know how to order a good plate of food or go to a gym knowing how to talk to people. Here you can delve into the different greetings and means of establishing contact with Spanish.
