Ableton Live is the new standard for electronic music. Its very easy to learn and with only a couple of lessons you will be able to start making your own music! Used by almost all EDM, House, Deep House and even Pop artists it is the must-have tool in the new decade. In our classes we will go over making beats, basic music theory, song-writing techniques and production techniques including advanced sound design with synthesizers. If requested, we can also move on to mixing to make your tracks sound just like what you hear on the radio. I specialize in Ableton Live and have released albums on multiple record labels. I hold a degree in Music Production and Sound Engineering from Point Blank Music School and I am currently the Music Content Manager at Vochlea Music and the lead Ableton tutorial writer for Attack Magazine. I also own my own recording and production studio in East London.

I am a composer/pianist currently studying at Royal College of Music. I started studying music at quite young, but never found my passion in it until my late teenage years. Now music is such an integral part of my life and well being, and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences to support others on their musical journeys. As a teacher I am very flexible and can adapt to how you want to learn, I also take a creative approach to teaching piano so that my students develop their musicianship and composition skills while learning the piano. As a composer, I always bring elements of music theory and composition into my piano teaching, so that my students can develop their musicianship and creativity while improving their piano playing skills. My teaching philosophy is that the most important aspect of learning music is to find one’s interest and passion in it, and my goal as a teacher is to support my students and help them find their passion in music; However, I am familiar with the ABRSM examinations and have a Grade 8 certificate myself, and I always tailor my lessons to different students based on what they are looking for.

Ableton Live is a powerful production tool used by some of the top producers in the world, but the opportunity to learn how to compose using it is something very few producers learn. This class focusses on understanding and implementing various production techniques using Ableton and could even help you produce like your favourite artist! Prior knowledge of music/instruments is helpful but not necessary.

This class is an opportunity to learn violin/ viola or receive tutoring in music theory (up to Grade 8) from an enthusiastic tutor who is passionate about music education. I offer piano lessons for all levels. 5 years of teaching experience in conservatories, music schools and in business. I have a very good contact with children. The links with song and rhythm are very important to have a healthy foundation. The musical notions are approached gradually by experience then by recognition. Reading and writing are brought about by creation and musical composition. For the more experienced, polyphony and difficult passages can be approached with different tools, by awareness of harmony and melodic modes and polyrhythm. Sometimes it is enough to be aware of simplicity to overcome difficult passages. I push to go further in the quality of the interpretation with simple means to better understand the music and thus allow more expressiveness and freedom. I also offer improvisation, harmony, lessons in musical ensembles, especially vocal polyphony for children, and lessons for specific needs, for example just intonation for singers or other instruments.

Instrument Tuition: Very flexible approach, I will teach based on individual needs. Beginners will learn the basics of the guitar, basic chords, basic scales etc. And advanced players will learn more complex chords, intricate scales, harmonies and improvisation. If you just want to learn how to play your favourite songs, then I will teach you how to do that. If you want to learn about song writing, I will teach you that. Anything and everything. Logic Pro X: Equally as flexible and I will adhere to individual needs, I may need to start from the very basics even for proficient users. I have many years of experience and I graduated from Manchester MIDI School as a specialist in Logic Pro X. I will explain, demonstrate and test students about each subject per lesson. We will look at MIDI, editing, recording, compression, EQ, Mastering, mixing, time stretching, FX, plugins, remixing, audio design, sound manipulation and so on.

I specialise in tutoring music from beginner level to secondary school, having taught in the classroom up to IB and A Level music. I have taught composition and music technology coursework in these higher level studies and have had students attain a place at Oxford University to read music. No matter if you are a performer, composer, or academic musician, a solid grasp on music theory is extremely important. Music is a valuable skill that aids learning in other fields too. I would teach basic music theory, and children's music, introducing basic music concepts. I have also attended a music conservatoire from Sept 2016- Aug 2021, playing the cello, and so can teach this for grades 1-3.
