Do you want to capture the world around you with just a pen and a sketchbook — anytime, anywhere? This class is all about urban sketching, expressive linework, and the art of seeing. Sketching is the most portable and intimate form of drawing. You don’t need fancy tools — a simple pen, a pocket-sized notebook, even an eyeliner can become the starting point of your next artwork. In this course, you will learn: ✨ Foundation techniques of pen sketching, line weight, shading, composition ✨ How to draw quickly and confidently from life ✨ The elegance of Chinese line art (“白描baimiao”): clarity, rhythm, and spirit ✨ How to develop your own style through bold experimentation ✨ How to capture the soul of a moment — people, pets, architecture, landscapes We will explore Copenhagen together and discover sketching spots: the peaceful fields, the modern skyline, hidden cafés, cozy streets, and everything in between. Every corner of this city has a story waiting to be drawn. More importantly, you will learn how sketching becomes a part of everyday life: 🍺 A bar sketch that earns you a free drink 🐾 A quick drawing of your cat or dog while they nap 🧡 A portrait sketch that becomes a charming conversation starter 🎁 A handmade gift far more personal than anything you can buy Sketching is not just a skill — it’s a lifestyle, a gentle way of observing the world and leaving a trace of beauty wherever you go. Whether you’re a beginner or simply eager to draw more freely, this class welcomes you.

I have a passion for science, especially life science. After having finished my master's degree in Biotechnology and working as a molecular oncology researcher for 3 years, I now wish to share my passion for this field with budding, curious minds. In this class, based on the requirement of the student, I will focus on basic or advanced life science topics such as molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry and bioanalytical techniques. If you are in school and need your basics covered, I can teach basic biology and chemistry in the simplest manner. I can understand these subjects can come off as quite dry to many students, but hopefully, my extreme enthusiasm in this field will change that for you. Hope to see you soon.

I hold a Scientific Baccalaureate mention Very Good. These years have allowed me to acquire methods essential to academic success that I can transmit even to younger students, methodology being the key to success. I was also able to acquire certain skills in mathematics, history, geography, French and even in languages mainly Spanish and still have the knowledge for support in scientific subjects other than mathematics. These years have also allowed me to speak with ease in order to transmit knowledge (3 oral per week in preparation that helps). TUTORING: Regarding my tutoring approach, during my studies I taught over 40 high school students and about ten middle school students, and therefore have a thorough understanding of the curriculum, particularly in mathematics. I have helped many students prepare for the French baccalaureate exam and other subjects. Furthermore, I will draw upon my own experiences and what has worked for me, while remaining mindful of each student's individual needs and abilities. I will tailor my approach to each child after analyzing their strengths and weaknesses. I will review their homework with them to help them improve, prepare them for future exams, and provide ongoing support throughout the year. The most important thing is to follow the student over an extended period to ensure their progress. AVAILABILITY: Evenings from 5:30pm or weekends.

Hello :) My name is Sarah and I am a Native Speaker from the United States, more specifically from New York. Hi :) I have been living in Europe for several years - I spent most of my time in Poland, where I worked as an English teacher for various private clients of various age groups. I have experience working with children and adults. Outside Central Europe, I completed my bachelor's studies in England, where I also worked as an editor and copywriter alongside my studies. Now I've come to Copenhagen for further studies and I'm looking forward to meeting new and interesting students in this city! The structure of my classes basically depends on what the student would like to focus on. If you are looking for an opportunity to practice your grammar, improve your written English, or deepen your conversation skills, I will be happy to help! We will agree on the entire class program and what we want to focus on during our first class. For me, the most important thing is to enable my students to have a more relaxed attitude towards the English language - so that they do not feel any barriers in using it. As for the location of our classes, I will be happy to come to the student's place, meet somewhere in the city, or online; I'm quite flexible when it comes to it :) See you soon! Sarah

If you’ve always wanted to learn to play the piano but aren’t sure where to start, I’m here to guide you. My lessons are perfect for beginners who want to build a solid foundation. Growing up, I didn't have access to anyone who could show me the beauty and magnificent power of science and engineering as ways to help us understand and shape the world. It took many years of reading, searching, and seeking mentors for me to befriend these subjects and become an A-student at The Technical University of Denmark (DTU). I would like to help a few people of any age with math/physics/programming, at any level from elementary school to first year of engineering. While procedural fluency is essential, a key focus will be to meet the student where they're at, build the motivation and intuition that make the computations feel obvious, and always take seriously the questions of "WHY?". Instruction can be given in English or Norwegian at DTU or anywhere in the Copenhagen region.
