Hello, I am Hyunshin, a Pianist from South Korea. I majored in Piano Performance and completed my Bachelor's degree in Korea and a Master's degree in Germany. And I completed my Postgraduate at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels. (More of my career can be found below.) — Those who are learning the piano for the first time, those who are children/teenagers and also adults/seniors, those who want to learn piano as a hobby. At the beginning of the course, I will evaluate your level and give you recommendations of what we can work on. There are two main types of courses: - a hobbyist course: it won’t be time consuming. I will help you learn new pieces and a little theory and solfege. The primary goal of this course is to make you enjoy playing in your spare time without having to practice too much. - a professional course: in this course I will help you reach the level of a professional musician. I will give you an insight of how to prepare a piece or pieces for a competition or an audition. I will also teach a lot of theory and solfege so that you can prepare for a conservatory or a school of music.

I’m Rodrigo, a pianist and educator offering personalized piano lessons at home for students of all levels. I am currently an economics student at ULB, I am 24 years old and I am looking for part-time work. I had 8 hours of math per week in secondary school. Having already given tutoring lessons, I know how to adapt to the student's pace and I am easy to communicate with. I mainly target primary and secondary students up to 3rd grade. My goal is to bring the student up to speed to start the year on a good basis! Regarding the piano, I started playing at the age of 6 before attending a music academy for 10 years from which I graduated. The piano is for me a passion that I would like to pass on. The student can suggest composers and tell me their preferences. Having quite a few scores at home, I can also bring some depending on the level of the student.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.
