I will teach you how to paint and draw. In addition I always provide art history which gives students inspiration, new ideas and a concept of how art developed through time and why did we move in certain directions.
I am a qualified professor of art education, with a masters degree in arts and pedagogy. I have two art schools and I was taught by the best art teachers from the world known Charles University and Sorbonne University.

I will help you develop your personal unique style and if needed, help to prepare you for your art academy applications.

We will start from the very basics of drawing, building your own canvas, classical painting, rules of painting from old masters, contemporary painting, figural, figurative and abstract art too. My lessons can be executed in my home, outdoors in nature or in your own comfort of your own home.

Extra information

I provide painting stand and brushes, but do bring your own acrylic paints, oil paints, depending on your preferences. Same with pencils, charcoals and paper/canvas and writing note book for theory.

About Me

I am a 29 year old teacher of arts and art history with two art master degrees. I studied in Charles University of Prague
I am half Czech/Italian.
I love art, travelling, history and culture.

This class is for those who want to and love to paint with watercolor. No experience is needed, an absolute beginner is very welcome.

You will learn how to paint with watercolor "step by step watercolor process until you get a masterpiece. By the end, you'll go home with your painting and an amazing overall experience to share with your friends.

I am an independent artist and cellist based in Utrecht since four years ago. I completed my Masters in Music at the HKU Utrecht Conservatory. Since my youth I have combined music with art. I have experience in all drawing and painting techniques and I specialize in realistic style.

BASIC INTRODUCTION

Discover your natural artistic talent in fun and informative step by step guided lessons.

You will learn how to apply the 7 elements of art and complete a painting.
Learn about:
Colour-The colour wheel/ Primary, secondary and tertiary colours. How to mix colour. Transparent and opaque paint and how to use it.

We will go step by step together with the above lessons so that you will gain confidence, and know-how to create your own artworks in the future.

You can chose ONE of the following Acrylic paint, Oils paint or watercolor paint.

You will learn which specific art equipment is required. The various makes and colours of paint, types of brushes and surface preparation.
How to decide on subject matter. Researching source material.
How to sketch the preliminary drawing.
How to begin painting with guidance through to the completion.
How to sign and seal the painting to protect it.

We will go step by step together with the above lessons so that you will have the confidence, and know-how to create your own artworks in the future. If you would like additional painting lessons on different subject matter like Landscape, Portaits, Figure or Still - life painting- you can book extra 3-5 lessons for each of the above.

My name is André.

I'm a pastel artist and I specialize in realistic pastel painting.
My favourite subject to paint is portraiture but I love all kinds of subjects, from wildlife, landscapes to still-life.

I'm based in Apeldoorn, Netherlands and I'm currently accepting new students.

My lessons can either be in person at my studio or online via Zoom meetings.

You are free to choose what you want to learn, any specific subject or any pastel technique can be taught in isolation and you can also take a complete lessons program from beginner to advanced level.

Every student is at a specific stage on their artistic progression so I analyze their current level and develop a plan to help them improve in the fastest way possible.
