Tutoring and Conversation for Beginner/ Intermediate/ Advanced Spanish Learners
From 18.29 € /h
Whether you're a high school, college, or an adult Spanish-learner looking to go the extra step in their language acquisition, tutoring can be a great tool to further unlocking your capabilities. Learning a new language is not an easy thing to do, requiring motivation, consistency, and an open mind. However, one of the biggest challenges facing language learners is a lack of human resources/connections in their target language. Pairing up with a Spanish tutor can help with anything from a challenging homework assignment/class unit, or verb tense, to finding resources and opportunities to help make your Spanish more conversational.
As someone who's been a Spanish learner for nearly ten years, I am here to help all sorts find their footing in their language learning career. In May of 2025, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. During my time at UWEC, I studied abroad in Valladolid, Spain, tutoring an advanced-level English learner, traveling the country, and forming a deeper connection with the language. I returned to Spain in July of 2024 to complete my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate by volunteering at a private language academy with students ranging from 3 to 12 years. In the fall semester of 2024, I was a tutor for the IEP (Intensive English Program) at my university, tutoring, students, primarily from China, in Advanced Academic Writing. I've translated/interpreted in a clinical setting, used Spanish for travel, and daily at my current customer-service job in the U.S. Not only is learning Spanish a practicality, but a great opportunity to enrich your life and the lives of others through connection. With my background as a tutor and Spanish-learner, I look forward to working with you towards achieving your language learning goals, whatever they may be.

About Me
Hi, good to meet you! I'm a longtime language learner and lover of languages. I took my first language class (Spanish I) my freshman year of high school and I haven't stopped since. I'm a recent college graduate from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. There, I majored in English-Creative Writing & Spanish, also earning a certificate in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). As a tutor, I like to spend the session's time centered around the student's specific goals and interests. I am open to working with language learners of any age and circumstance. Thanks for taking the time to view my profile and I hope we get the chance to learn together!
