About Me

Music is for me a way to heal myself, to give emotion to my life, to relax, to express feelings and to connect with others. I want to pass on to others everything I have learned in 20 years of career, answer their questions and guide them in their musical approach.

Education

My beginnings in music date back to my childhood where I took lessons in piano, composition, guitar, drums and vocal technique. I studied composition and piano for 5 years and graduated in January 2018. I am currently a performer and I participate in different musical projects in Brussels. I continue to study and follow other training courses such as audiovisual production, Latin jazz and marketing for musicians.

I have a master degree in classical music and one in jazz, and 10 years experience playing live music, recording, and teaching. I have taught pupils of all ages and levels. I am a firm believer that a teacher must adapt his method and approach to every new student.

I use techniques that are quite simple to learn but which are very effective. The course is always done in kindness and good humor. As with everything, you have to work to hope to achieve results. My role is to enable you to speed up the process significantly through specific methods.
The typical lesson takes place as follows:
First, we start to analyze the score you are going to play (key, rhythm,...)
Then, we begin to play the right hand alone (often the main melody) at a fairly slow pace.
Finally we tackle the left hand alone (often the accompaniment that covers the piece) at a fairly slow pace as well.
Once the 2 hands are perfectly mastered separately, it's time to assemble. Always at a fairly slow speed at the beginning and we accelerate as we go.
I am a calm teacher, I have been in your shoes and I know the difficulty of each step, which makes me an understanding teacher as well.
I am also very educational, I do animation in life as a nutons chef (children from 5 to 8 years old).
