Thanks to my international education and years of experience in a multilingual environment, I switch effortlessly between these three languages. From my own experience I know how lost you can feel in an environment where you don't speak the language yet. That's why I offer language support to children (4-17 years) who want to learn Dutch or improve their language skills - especially in the Arnhem-Nijmegen region. Personal guidance, tailor-made I teach in a way that suits the student: personal, patient and tailored to the level and learning needs. I work with different teaching materials and focus on communication and speaking skills, so that my students quickly feel at home and dare to speak with confidence. Special attention for children I also coach children with dyslexia or autism and help them in a way that suits their unique way of learning. In addition, I support children who are switching from international to regular Dutch education - both in terms of language and in finding their place in a new school environment. Trusted teacher: A qualified language coach with 25 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online. I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam. Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach. In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level). We mainly go for quality and not just running a lesson. I am really involved in the progress of the student. In addition to teaching, I want to do everything to really motivate students to take the next step. That is my strength! You can also choose the online lesson package with Whereby, Teams or Zoom in a comfortable way. Online classes are one-on-one or maximum one-on-two, for better results. My English is fluent, as well as Portuguese and Spanish. I understand the difficulties of overcoming barriers for Latin languages and for expats in general, as I have also been an expat. I have wanted to learn Dutch for a long time but something held me back. But one day I decided it was time and I searched and found the teacher, I didn't know what to expect. But I had a nice surprise to come across such a warm and patient person, we have a few lessons together and I am very happy with her, she explains so well and makes you learn so quickly that it doesn't seem difficult anymore. If you are looking for a person to be cool and open minded and at the same time feel like you can learn Dutch without pressure, she is the perfect person. I am very happy and I like that she is the kind of teacher who gives you confidence in yourself and at the end of the day you are happy that you chose her, thank you Traudi! You are the best!

I contacted Caroline just 2 weeks before my ITNA-test appointment. I booked 20 hours (mostly in chunks of 120min) and she was wonderful and very patient (I tend to ask a lot of questions)! I fully believe these 2 weeks of intensive lessons were pivotal in passing the test (she has a lot of material). Not only that, but now I really just feel more comfortable using more complex sentence structures in my day-to-day. Caroline was a perfect fit for me and I would highly recommend giving her a try!

I'm extremely happy and thankful, that Janet accepted to be the Dutch tutor for my 10 year old daughter. We have been to the Netherlands for less than 2 years, and my kid needed some support to improve her language skills. On our first day, Janet welcomed us warmly and professionally. She inquired about our situations and the reasons for the Dutch lessons. At the end of the first lesson, my daughter was excited... Even so that our next lesson is scheduled during the school break period :)
