This course is primarily designed to assist professionals who need to understand Chinese law, aiming to enhance their proficiency in legal Chinese language and knowledge of Chinese law. The course is taught by practicing lawyers from China, and the language of instruction is Chinese. The course covers the following:
If students do not have specific requirements, the main focus of the course will be on learning basic legal Chinese vocabulary and foundational knowledge, as well as providing an overview of the Chinese legal system.
If students have specific areas of legal knowledge that they need to understand, the course content can be adjusted accordingly to cover certain specific areas of the Chinese legal system based on the students' specific needs.
If students have a need to prepare for the Chinese legal professional qualification examination, specialized coaching can also be provided to meet their requirements.

I'm a Confucius Institute (the ONLY globally recognized official institution for teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages) certified Mandarin teacher.

I'm also an official YCT (Youth Chinese Test)/ HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test)/ HSKK (Chinese Proficiency Spoken Test) test examiner.

In addition to giving private lessons, I also teach Chinese at international schools and lead Mandarin immersion Spielgruppe (playgroup) in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. My speciality is teaching children between the age of 2.5 and 12 in an immersive and interactive learning environment. By means of guided game-playing, painting, story-reading, drama activities, song-singing, dancing, and handcraft-making, kids achieve organic language acquisition while having a lot of fun.

The predominant features you will find in my class are tailor-made teaching materials and methods that are customized to best suit your specific study objectives (Preschooler Chinese, K-12 Chinese, YCT, HSK, Beginner Chinese, Conversational Chinese, Business Chinese...etc.).

As a language learner myself (B.A. major in Spanish and currently studying German), I have great patience and willingness to help you on your journey towards Chinese proficiency, because I know how frustrating it could get at times. Being in the shoes of a linguistics student for years also enables me to better instruct you, as I understand very well what are the things a learner would find helpful.
