I teach various aspects of English, including communication and writing, and in my typical class, I focus on creating a dynamic, hands-on learning experience. I want my students to feel comfortable expressing their ideas, so I always aim to make the environment open and engaging. I usually start with a brief introduction to the day’s topic, which could range from building vocabulary and improving sentence structure to crafting more compelling narratives.

To keep things interactive, I encourage participation through group discussions, writing exercises, and examples that connect to real-life situations. I emphasize the importance of clarity, coherence, and creativity in their writing, guiding them on how to organize their thoughts and choose the right words to convey their messages effectively. We also dive into different writing styles, analyzing passages to understand tone, style, and purpose.

Feedback is a vital part of the process, so I provide regular, constructive criticism. I point out areas for improvement while highlighting each student’s strengths. I also prioritize practical application by having students write short pieces in class, which we review together. This immediate practice helps solidify what they’ve learned.

I offer private lessons in Chemistry to school students following French, British, IB or American systems. Being a PhD-holder in Chemistry from Imperial College London, I also offer support to chemistry students at university level.
Classes are delivered online via Zoom.

In my classes:
- I encourage asking relevant questions and I am willing to repeat explanations as much as necessary.
- I use technological tools and web interfaces to provide visual support to verbal explanations, which I consider a key part of effective teaching.
- I share my own, tailored, class notes and encourage the student to take notes him/herself as practice.
- We solve problems and I also assign homework and correct it in the following lesson.

After my classes, I share my notes with my students to help them retain the information and revise.
