Hello,
I’m Wayne, a professional singer, songwriter and tutor from London that now resides in Paris. My classes have a dual role, they are aimed at those who want to learn how to sing and create their own unique songs to suit their voice. I will show you that singing is not necessarily about having a big voice, it’s about understanding your instrument and expressing it in the most effective “soulful”way. We will go through technique which is very important but also we will learn to let go and feel the music that is inside. Music is transformative and I aim to create a comfortable and safe space for letting go, as that’s when the magic happens. In my profession I have written many songs for other artists and performed on many radio hits. If you would like links I would be happy to send them to you.

Like any form of creative expression, music has its rules, rooted in perception and in the context around us.

We will be able to work on fundamental concepts of musical expression, valid in all genres and also delve into the area that interests you the most (baroque, classical, pop, jazz...)

My course has a non-academic approach and it is open to all: whether you are professionals who want to deepen their musical knowledge, or you are amateurs or beginners we can build the perfect course for you and that will allow you to express yourself or simply to better understand the music you are listening to.

The only thing I highly recommend is knowing how to read music, because it allows us to go much faster. If you are not able, we can start there.

Je suis chanteuse lyrique, diplômée du Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles et diplômée de la Schola Cantorum de Paris.

Dynamique et passionnée par l'enseignement du chant, je vous propose une approche de la technique vocale et de ses différents enjeux : respiration abdominale, résonateurs, posture, conscientisation du corps ... par le biais d'exercices ludiques et adaptés à chacun.

Ces cours s'adressent à tout type de profil : initiés ou débutants! quels que soient vos objectifs et vos besoins.

Young professional opera singer, tenor, with a Master's degree in singing at the CNSMD Lyon, I give lessons to students of all levels.

I propose a work centered on the technique in harmony with the body, to (re) find the natural and the comfort while seeking the musicality and expression.

We can work as much for the discovery of the voice as for pleasure, or in the preparation of deadlines (competitions, auditions, concerts, preparation to join a choir, etc.), always in a good mood!

I offer lessons of an hour or an hour and a half according to your preferences and I accompany the students on the piano or guitar as needed.

I alternate according to the wishes and needs of a student of the courses
- where we start with 30/45 minutes of technique: breathing exercises, posture, vocalizations then the remaining time to apply this to a piece (brought by the student or under my suggestion)
- centered on music and interpretation, with a quick warm-up of between 10 and 15 minutes then a deeper dive into a piece, its musical and literary interpretation, and its style.

Classes can also be given in English or Spanish.
Possibility of doing lessons in the 12th arrondissement with a pianist who accompanies for a small supplement, more information by message.

Before 7 years, it will be more of a musical awakening. Children and adolescents will discover the meaning of the melody and refine their ear. Beyond the age of 16 or 17, work on vocal technique, breathing and timbre will satisfy more specific expectations.

Passionate about music offers an initiation or a deepening in music (music theory, piano or singing). My goal is to be as attentive as possible to your expectations and I will be quite capable of adapting.
Having played the piano since I was 6 years old, I acquired a very good level of music theory and subsequently found fun methods for this learning which may seem boring but remains necessary. The goal is to help with motivation and confidence! Learning music theory can be for all instruments. Indeed, I know the three types of keys (treble, bass, and C) depending on the instruments.
I am also a member of a musical comedy troupe with which we have put on 10 shows with live music. So I also have a lot of experience singing and playing piano in front of an audience.
I also passed the Music option of the baccalaureate and could therefore also teach you the techniques of comparative listening or instruct you on a work or a genre of music that interests you.

I am a professional vocalist, performer, and voice instructor with a background in classical music and musical theatre. I have 10+ years of classical training and graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City with a B.A in Musical Theatre Performance. I offer singing lessons to people of varying ages and levels of expertise, from total beginners to more advanced vocalists. My lessons focus on helping you to develop or polish your technique (regardless of your preferred genre of music.) We will utilize exercises engineered to develop a strong, healthy phonation with minimal extraneous tension as well as strengthen breath support and control of the breathing mechanism.

En début de cours nous travaillerons les aspects techniques de la voix : La respiration, les appuis, le soutien, les zones de résonances, la posture, la projection, la justesse, l’ouverture des voyelles...en nous appuyant sur les vocalises et des exercices appropriés.

I am excited to offer my new classes I recently developed while teaching in NYC at a children's music school. My initial approach will first be to understand the desires within my student (aka the artist)

While I can teach beginner music theory, I do not believe this is necessary for one to write music. However, if the student would like to understand this, I can provide lessons on general theory. My primary intention is to identify the student's core strengths and use them to help them create the music that they wish to create.

I have collaborated with artists like Bakithi Kumalo (Paul Simon's bass player) Itaal Shur (Multi-Grammy award winner and Composer of "Smooth" by Santana) and Haydn Bendall (Kate Bush's chief engineer)

My singing lessons are fully personalized based on your level and musical needs. We will work on various techniques to improve your vocal control and develop your potential.

Course of the sessions:

• Short body warm-up

• Vocal exercises to warm up the voice and work on technique, with emphasis on:

- breathing and breath control
- the development of the larynx
- relaxation of the jaw and resonator muscles
- projection / power techniques
- accuracy

• Repertoire adapted and specialized to your voice type and your vocal evolution, in order to fully express your musicality and artistic personality. Each course will be adapted to your progress, in a caring and motivating atmosphere, to sing with more ease, confidence and pleasure. Let's discover the world of your voice together!
