I am a professional vocalist, performer, and voice instructor with a background in classical music and musical theatre. I have 10+ years of classical training and graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City with a B.A in Musical Theatre Performance. I offer singing lessons to people of varying ages and levels of expertise, from total beginners to more advanced vocalists. My lessons focus on helping you to develop or polish your technique (regardless of your preferred genre of music.) We will utilize exercises engineered to develop a strong, healthy phonation with minimal extraneous tension as well as strengthen breath support and control of the breathing mechanism.

Throughout my musical formation I was very lucky to have great teachers who imparted their knowledge of singing and vocal technique. As professional vocalist and performer, I feel grateful for the training I have received. In my own teaching, I strive to be able to do the same for my students regardless of whether or not they seek a professional career in Music. Anyone can benefit from learning to sing, regardless of age or level of experience. Singing is physical training, and learning to sing can be a lesson in patience, as well as discipline and resolve. It is also a lesson in opening up emotionally and spiritually and can prove to be a liberating practice which can help to develop confidence and self esteem. I love to teach singing as much as I love to sing, and it would be my pleasure to help you train and discover your singing voice.
