History is an essential subject to understand our global past, allowing us to see how society has developed its ideological beliefs and cultural/societal practices, showcasing how past events have impacted todays society and future generations.

I specialise in teaching Irish and German history, targeting my curriculum at UK GCSE and history studies.

The goal of my class is to ensure that the student is provided with the relevant information and knowledge to their school history curriculum is adequately prepared and confident to undertake their school history exams.

I am a driven, focused, and aspiring individual that aims to provide young people with a well rounded education that will help further their studies whilst also peaking their interest in the subject at hand and relate it to current events.

About Me

I am a recent graduate from Queens University Belfast where i graduated with a 2.1 honours degree in History, with particular focus, not limited to, European history between 1918 and 1960.

As a young professional i remember the stress of school studies and so i aim to provide extra, one on one, focused and detailed assistance to students struggling or simply wanting extra support with their studies within a specific subject area, history.

Within my degree i focused particularly on European and Irish history between 1915 and 1960+, completing my dissertation on The psychological impact of warfare upon veterans between WW1 and WW2.
I am currently gathering experience working in school environments and expanding my knowledge on the History curriculum in Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom. With this, i am preparing to complete my PGCE in the coming year and become a qualified History teacher.

Western Armenian is a language that has been put in the endangered language's list, and I personally believe that such a rich language should never die. I believe that I am taking a huge initiative to be one of the individuals who'll try to save this important language from disappearing.
I try to make my lessons as interacting as possible. The lessons and exercises will be provided through PowerPoint presentations. I try to listen to my student in order to prepare the lesson plan together, according to his needs and preferences.

Having a good grasp of your country's history (or the history of a country you are moving to) is important, and to be able to achieve that, you need to be able to understand it in a meaningful way. My goal is to help you do just that! Our lessons will be tailored to your needs and learning styles, and you will be tutored in an attentive and patient environment.

I will tutor and/or teach any era of US History from the founding of Jamestown in 1607 to the beginning of Obama's presidency in 2008 (which is roughly where most high school and middle school U.S. History textbooks end). If need be, I will stick with students throughout the entire year. Once I am told where we need to start, and I assess what lesson type would fit the student the best, I will begin with our lesson plans.

Classes and tutoring ARE offered year-around, 7 days a week (though availability in terms of time may vary). This is to give students the availability to access help and education throughout the year, anytime, on a schedule that suits their needs.
