The Russian language proves to be very challenging for all speakers - even for those born in Russia. However, I have excellent knowledge of the normative literary Russian language thanks to my philological and pedagogical academic training. The major linguistic pair I work with is Russian - English . Although it becomes helpful for the students when I also incorporate references to French or Dutch when needed. As an experienced private tutor and university teacher who understands the struggles of her students, I'm able to find a personal approach to each of them. Our linguistic classes will be enriched with background information about Russia, its history and culture, so that you become even more motivated to master this rich but complicated language. I am an enthusiastic, but also demanding teacher who adores it when her students are making good progress. For as we know, the success of any teacher is absolute only when her student is able to eventually excel her. That's what we can strive for together.

Here are some things to know about the DELF and DALF:
The DELF (Diploma of Studies in French Language) and the DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language) are two official and quality diplomas. They are harmonized on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. They include the following six levels, in ascending order: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. These two diplomas are suitable for all ages and all audiences.
In addition, the DELF B2, and increasingly the DALF C1, allow students to enter French, European or French-speaking universities, and certain Grandes Ecoles.

I offer you a new learning experience.

To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset.

You can book a complete course with regular sessions or individual lessons to overcome a specific problem, such as pronunciation or a particular point in grammar.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.

Learning is easy, but unlearning bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.
