My name is Kristina and I come from a Czech/British background. I currently study my master at The Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, as well as having completed my Bachelor of singing in The Hague.

In the class vocal lessons, I want to give you a basis of a classical vocal technique and explore the world of singing. We would be working on our body - how it works, breath, exercises, on our musicality (intonation, phrasing, expression), on the text, but also on a lot on repertoire, which suits your voice(:

Its soft, soulful sound holds a deep place in Turkish and Islamic culture, especially in Sufi music. This enchanting instrument is not just a tool for music; it is a bridge to spiritual expression.

The ney is closely tied to the teachings of Rumi (Mevlana), the great 13th-century Persian poet and Sufi mystic. Rumi often used the ney as a metaphor for the human soul. He likened its hollow body to a person who longs for reunion with their divine origin, producing melodies of longing and love.
