My name is Simone and I provide language and spelling tutoring to primary school students with a lot of love and patience. I also like to help foreign-language students with NT2 lessons. Together we make the tutoring both educational and enjoyable. I like to get to know each child well. Not only to make a child feel comfortable, but also to see what kind of lesson suits the child well. Every child is unique, which makes every lesson different. In addition to the school methods used, I make my lessons creative by using my own (playful) material that connects to the desired subject.

My name is Valérie. As a native speaker of French and Dutch and graduated as an interpreter of French/Dutch I give with great pleasure French language courses and Dutch for expats in Amsterdam/ Amstelveen for years to all different kinds of students. Lessons can also be followed online. The lessons are given in French or Dutch and are mainly focused on speaking the language. They are therefore practically oriented. The lessons are tailor-made because I follow the wishes and goals of the students during the first lesson. I think it is important that the student experiences pleasure in learning the language, it is and stays a way of communication!

Hello, my name is Rosa(48). I am born and raised in Amsterdam with roots all over the world. After high school, I studied law. I also studied photography for a year. I have gained many years of experience as a journalist, editor and children's entertainer. I have also taught newcomers in front of a class or worked as a counselor at a free school. I have also been a childminder. That was great fun. I love the Dutch language and really enjoy teaching children but also adults. I have successfully completed 6 VWO and passed an English Cambridge exam. Currently, I am a law student with a passion for languages, geology and history and I like to share the knowledge - in peace and with full understanding of the student - and together I look for the best method to make this work! I provide lessons for the Nt2 Staatsexamen and Dutch Nationalisation exam (Inburgering examen)and Business Dutch for ex-pats and people who want to learn everyday Dutch. In the citizenship exam course, students learn about history, geography and basic vocabulary which are the contents of the exam. They learn how to respond to basic questions. Besides preparatory lessons for (Inburgering examen ,citizenship exam ,I teach Business Dutch( Zakelijk Nederlands) to expats. Online lessons are delivered through Google meet and Ms Teams and other online platforms. The lessons are conducted online as well as at a location in The Hague. Both private and group lessons are available. I take pride in saying that all my students who I prepared for Dutch exams passed their exams with high scores:)

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. Between the two lessons you can always ask me a question about the subject what we’ve discussed. If you have a subject what you’d like to learn about the Dutch language, let me know. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
