Akoestisch en elektrisch gitaar. We spelen in principe songs en solo's die jij wilt leren. Heb je daarin geen specifieke voorkeur, dan kan ik jou daar natuurlijk richting in geven. Techniek en theorie kunnen ook onderdeel zijn van de lessen, maar het belangrijkste is dat jij door mijn les geïnspireerd raakt om zoveel mogelijk zelf thuis te spelen en te oefenen!

Adrian (1997) is an Amsterdam-based guitarist from Caracas, Venezuela that is part of the up-coming generation of the Dutch Jazz scene. Winner of the Erasmus Jazz Prize 2019, Adrian has performed at top festivals such as North Sea Jazz Fest, North Sea Round Town and Grachtenfestival, and has also shared the stage with established and emerging musicians such as Benjamin Herman, Stefan Lievestro and Alessandro Fongaro.

Adrian (1997) started classical guitar lessons at age 11 but quickly switched to electric guitar because of his passion for rock music. At age 14, he was admitted to the TJC Music School in his hometown, Caracas, where he studied jazz guitar, graduating with honours at age 17. While living in Venezuela, Adrian started playing professionally at 16 years old, being called a “young promise”. In 2017, Adrian moved to The Netherlands to study at Codarts University of the Arts, later transferring to Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2019 to study with Jesse van Ruller, Reinier Baas, Martijn van Iterson, Maarten van der Grinten, and many more. Adrian is currently living in Amsterdam.

Ik ben gespecialiseerd in Latijns-Amerikaanse muziek. Mijn doel is de student niet alleen gitaar te leren spelen (of verder te helpen), maar ook kennis maken met diverse volksmuziek vormen uit Latijns-Amerika zowel in de praktijk op de gitaar maar ook via het beluisteren en onderzoeken naar de diverse vormen. Voor de gevorderd gitarist verder zijn kennis uit te breiden binnen het klassieke repertoire uit Latijnsamerika met onbekende werken en voor wie interesse heeft, leren componeren is ook een van mijn doelen. Muziek dus op z'n breedte. Geen liedjes leren spelen maar wel eigen werk componeren.

Ik ben een gitaarleraar afgestudeerd aan de Fontys Hooge School voor de Kunst, ik heb veel ervaring met lesgeven aan jonge kinderen en volwassenen met en zonder voorkennis, ik vind het leuk dat mijn studenten zich met mij identificeren en vertrouwen hebben in het leerproces , dat maakt dat ze sneller en leuker leren, ik gebruik verschillende methoden om gitaar te leren, en ik combineer ze met mijn ervaring en intuïtie, mijn ervaring met lesgeven aan een muziekacademie was altijd prettig, en ook met een wachtlijst vol met studenten, Ik ben ook erg goed in het voorbereiden van studenten op de toelatingsexamens van het conservatorium.

SING WITH MARIO!

The 45-minute vocal performance class (held in a studio room) entails a multidimensional approach that focuses on vocal technique, performative mindset and artistic skills for singers, also offering numerous opportunities for vocal competitions around the world (through the World Association of Performing Arts, WAPA).

In addition to Mario's 17 years of experience on stage and on camera, he has professional experience as a vocal coach. A lesson with Mario begins with vocal warm-up exercises (10 minutes); then, all vocal/performative/artistic skills are being taught through singing a song of the child/teenager's choice (30 minutes). The class ends with evaluation, advice and suggestion of exercises (5 minutes) so that the student can practice at home until the next class.

If you are a parent and would like to introduce your child to the art of music, Mario will create a fun learning environment and make the classes interesting, dynamic and entertaining. Water, tea, candies, or any other drink/snacks that your child would like will be provided for inspiration!

Hey, I'm Iván, an argentinian musician that recently moved to Amsterdam. I've been a guitarist for more than 10 years and even though it is not the only thing i do with music, i've always enjoyed teaching. As a teacher i usually base my method on playing actual music oriented on the student's personal taste, with the possibility of developing in a more academic way later on if required.
I studied classical guitar in Argentina and Spain, i've taught since i was a child and i have 3 trinity college degrees on classical guitar, rock and pop guitar and music theory.
I have experience both with electric and classic/acoustic guitar and diverse genres such as rock, jazz, pop, blues, tango, classical, etc...
