My name is Shak. I am 21 years old and currently studying at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. I've been playing different instruments for as long as I can remember and I've mainly started to focus on bass guitar. I also play in several bands and I have a lot of experience with the instrument on stage or in the studio. I started playing music at 7 years old, went through 12 years of music school, and then moved to Amsterdam and spent 4 years learning jazz guitar at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I frequently play with various bands ranging from Pop and Funk to Jazz Fusion and even Techno.

I’m open-minded and straightforward, and I focus on giving my students the tools and basics they need to learn and explore on their own.

Hi! I’m Emily, a classically trained singer from Hong Kong, currently in my fourth year of the Bachelor’s programme in Voice at the Utrecht Conservatorium. With 8 years of vocal training and a strong love for performing, I’m passionate about helping others experience the joy of music.

I’ve been teaching for over 4 years, working with students from age 4 to adults, both individually and in small group settings. I also teach music classes for children at an international school, and I specialize in creating engaging, age-appropriate lessons that build both skill and confidence.

In addition to classical singing, I also teach Musical Theatre — combining healthy vocal technique with expressive performance — and piano at beginner to intermediate levels. I hold an ATCL Diploma in Singing from Trinity College London and ABRSM Piano Grade 8, and I’ve helped students succeed in ABRSM and Trinity exams, often with Merit or Distinction.
