We'll alternate between the following locations:
• The pleasant and relaxing botanical gardens in Amsterdam or Leiden (no extra charge)
• A public location in Amsterdam like a public library or a bar
• Your work or home location (Amsterdam only)
• Other locations can be discussed

What's on the program?
• A one-on-one with a native Dutch tutor
• Dutch class for all levels
• A session of 2 hours
• Help and advice with business documents like email and resume
• Roleplaying private and work situations
• Optional homework
• Exercises in session
• Insides and coaching on culture
• Conversation focused
• Study material provided in an organized Google Classroom

Présentation

As a writer and a coach, I mostly make my own study materials, so you don't have to buy any additional books. I focus on building up and improving the active vocabulary on speaking and listening, but I'm afraid you cannot escape the occasional Dutch grammar in my class. This might sound boring, but in fact it will give you a framework and more confidence.

Education

As much as I hated to study Latin at my Latin School, I can now sincerely say that Latin has been the basis of every language I learned. My only regret is that I'll never know how it has been pronounced.

Expérience / Qualifications

For beginning and intermediate students I have made conversation scripts on several subjects. These scripts begin with exercises and end with a role play. These role plays are fun to do, so learning Dutch will not feel like a chore!

Are you taking VWO or Havo exams this year? Dutch is the stumbling block. Practicing on a high level also guarantees better results for other subjects (Biology, Mathematics, Physics, classical & modern foreign languages, Art, Social Sciences, etc.). Also supervision of profile assignment and preparation (oral) Literature.
Possibly also E-learning; check / discuss / supervise training online / via FaceTime.
For lessons on location (at home with student or elsewhere), price is ex. travel expenses.
Training can also be done together with others; you then pay every proportional part of the hourly rate. Shown packages of 5 or 10 lessons indicate price per person for group lessons at 5 resp. 10 students.
Other (lower) combination rates are possible, in consultation.
