Trusted teacher: As a student myself, I always share the same experiences and stressful phases as my students (difficult lessons to understand, exams, assignments, etc.), and I find this to be a major asset in one-on-one tutoring. It's a close connection that most qualified teachers overlook, which prevents them from understanding the student's difficulties. I am currently in my second year at EPFL and passed my first year on my first attempt. In addition to good results at the pre-university level, I continue to excel in my studies (5.25/6 average) and am developing rigor, composure under stress, excellent organizational skills, and above all, a demanding work ethic. In terms of my career path, I am considering a Master's degree in Robotics at EPFL as well, because it is a subject that I am passionate about. To best teach a student struggling with a scientific subject, I believe it's crucial to vary the methods and terminology used. A perspective different from that of a high school/college (or even middle school) teacher can shed light on a topic sometimes perceived as "complicated". That is why I try to be as close as possible to the student, to understand their interests, in order to give simplified, visual, schematic explanations that are easily understood by the student, and that remain a clear reference. To make the most of our time with the student, I try to prepare each lesson meticulously. To do this, I will ask the student about their needs for the next lesson (if they have specific requirements, for example, a test in class or a lesson they didn't understand), or I will prepare a personalized learning plan as best I can.

Trusted teacher: #1 A method based on what actually works My method goes beyond simple academic support. It is inspired by what has proven successful for those who excel in the most demanding challenges: a way of working, understanding and reasoning that allows you to go further, faster and more sustainably. #2 One objective: to transmit a real way of learning Through mathematics and physics, my goal is not just to help students succeed in an exercise or test. I aim to impart a genuine working method: knowing how to approach a new concept, understand it in depth, make it your own, and then reuse it in other contexts. #3 Work smarter, not just more The goal is not to increase working hours for slight progress. The idea is to transform the way we learn, structure our thinking, and manipulate knowledge, in order to reach a higher level of mastery with a fairer and more effective method. #4 A fully customized support Every student is different. Their level, goals, obstacles, way of thinking, and learning psychology all require a specific approach. That's why my support is entirely personalized, with a progress plan tailored to their profile and needs. #5 More than a teacher: a mentor and a coach Today, information is already everywhere: in classes, in books, online, on YouTube, or via artificial intelligence. The true added value of a private tutor therefore lies elsewhere: in diagnosis, adaptation, monitoring, the ability to unblock what is truly hindering progress, and to restore clarity and confidence. #6 A practical approach to better understand and retain I place great importance on concrete applications, real-world cases, and a project-oriented approach. Linking concepts to real-life problems allows for better understanding, better retention, and, above all, prevents forgetting what one learns. #7 An impact that goes beyond scientific subjects When this work is done well, its effects extend far beyond mathematics and physics. The student also develops a better general method, greater autonomy, more confidence, and an enhanced ability to progress throughout their studies. #8 Follow-up that continues beyond the course My coaching can be provided in person or remotely, without any loss of quality. It's not limited to the lesson itself: I also offer tools, resources, and additional support to ensure solid and lasting progress.

Trusted teacher: Mathematics, chemistry and physics – clear knowledge, personal knowledge My name is Kian, an experienced tutor from Bern, and I support pupils and students at all levels – from secondary school I and II to Passerelle, IB, university and the Swiss Matura level. With my structured, understandable, and motivating approach, I'll not only help you achieve better grades—but also help you truly understand the context. My lessons are personalized, efficient, and at eye level. 📘What you should know about me: I teach in Bern and successfully completed the MAS program in Statistical Data Science at the University of Bern – with a strong focus on mathematics, statistics, and analytical thinking. For several years, I have been enthusiastically tutoring – especially in the natural sciences, where many students often fall behind. Especially in mathematics, chemistry, and physics, it's often about structures, logic, and understanding connections – it's precisely this passion that I bring to my teaching. I combine subject-specific depth with didactic sensitivity – so that even complex content becomes tangible and understandable. ✅ We have already seen the following instructions: One-to-one lessons tailored to your pace and goals Support for all levels – secondary school, secondary school, Passerelle, IB, university & more Clear focus on the Swiss curriculum – including cantonal requirements Modern didactics & real aha moments instead of dry memorization Long-term learning strategies for sustainable success Flexible lessons in Bern or online – reliable, personal & effective 💬 Why learn from me? We don't know what to do with it – with its structure, its layout and its motivation. I take the time to convey content in a way that really sticks – understandable, logical, and tailored to your situation. For me, it's not about "just getting through it" – it's about becoming more confident, gaining deeper understanding – and perhaps even developing a love of math, chemistry, or physics. Good tutoring is not a stopgap solution – it is a real fresh start. If you are ready to understand better, I am ready to accompany you.
