I am involved in teaching academic vocal and piano for people, who would like to begin and continue to learn this direction. My aim is to teach proper piano and vocal technique. In my lessons on vocals I will offer different breathing and vocal exercises and learning a few simple works, on the piano - different exercises for hand technique and learning of simple works. I will give homework after each lesson and summarise the results of the lesson.

Everybody can take entry level lessons about the keyboard (synthesizer, melodica, xylophone), the recorder, songs & rhymes. Entry level lessons teach about rhythm, melody, harmony, duo play, replay, music listening and ear training, music notation and sight-reading. Learning depends on your life experience and abilities. You can learn some days, some others may develop skills some years. Leaners can continue studies in a music school or studio. Musical literacy is the reading, writing, and playing of music, as well an understanding of cultural practice and historical and social contexts. I've performed on & off since kindergarten through my adult life and today it is manly a minority hobby. Mostly teaching a few simple songs, instruments, poems, acting and dance for children on a weekly bases. When children learn to sing along or dance something they did not know before I considered my activity as the real one, because teaching is the feelings, skills and knowledge what you transform to others. I long ago developed a very practiced smile, and I do not know if music is really joyful or not. I also have completed a short music therapy course and not all people are in need some music for healing. All self-expression activities should be free choice of human life. Some others may find therapeutic activity to play football. Educators should know also psychology and lessons design, and finally evaluate teaching outcome. I appreciate British and American cultural achievements and creative industries. UK syllabus of popular music is studied globally (9 levels) and leaners can take part of it to obtain a qualification from London, UK. You can concentrate on the requirements of notation accuracy, values, evenness of sound, tone quality/ consistency, technical control and sync and improvisation and ensemble replay and sight-reading and the featured repertoire in modern music industries and audience.

I am Eter, undergraduated student of BA at Tbilisi State Conservatory, at the faculty of Performing Arts, named after Vano Sarajishvili. I teach classical and Jazz Piano and Vocal. I have big experience in this field. Also i study on Faculty of Solo Academic Vocal. I have participated in various international and national festivals, competitions, projects and concerts. All of these has had a huge impact on my professional and musical development. Among those worth mentioning are the Italian International competition (2015) audience prize; International piano Festival in Marmaris, Turkey (2017) I prize; the International Lithuania competition and festival (2018) III prize; The Festival at TSC 2019. Furthermore, I would like to mention that, beside Academic Vocal, I also master of jazz vocal professionally. I am hard-working, purposeful and diversity seeker person. . From 2018 until to 2021 I was working in the opera studio which is located in the conservatory. In addition, I worked in a children's music studio for 2 years. Work experiences have convinced me of my abilities and given me the right direction in the music field.

My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12 we start by doing easy vocalise and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favourite songs. With teenagers I also start with some vocalises, a little more elaborate. Depending on the students capabilities we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to more advanced. A classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

In this course I teach you to become familiar with the scores of the Gregorian Chant and its Vatican notation, which works in tetragram instead of staff, and does not have the conventional rhythmic figures. We will learn the Gregorian symbols and ways, while also awakening the voice and gaining notions of Latin, history and liturgy.

Your body is your instrument when singing. We try to make that instrument sound as beautiful as possible by working on sound formation. This allows the vocal cords to move more freely, so that you are less tired when singing. Your voice becomes fuller and you can sing higher and lower tones. During the singing lessons we are also busy with articulation, the pronunciation of foreign languages and also with the meaning and feeling of a certain piece. I'm looking for student's who not only want to learn a great technique for singing but whom also want to find and develop their own unique sound so they can express themselves through the art of song and tell a story. I am a trained singer- songwriter & professional musician with a BA (hons) in Composition. Originally from london I moved to Brussels to do my masters degree. I am a trained singing with a level of grade 8, I have also spent the last 6 years touring as a front women and also a backing singing with various artists around europe, including 1 top 10 artist. I understand that although it's great to have a strong technique it's also about letting go and having confidence in your ability so you can relax in the moment. I welcome students of all levels and all ages and teach a range of genres from Jazz to Rock. Alternatively I am happy to focus on technique if that is something you prefer to work on.
