Maths and English for College and High School

Mathematics is the best way to enhance your intellect but also work on your intuition and your ability to see patterns. Good day, my name is Alex, I have been teaching math for over 10 years to hundreds of students. I will teach all grades from elementary school all the way to high school and IB/GCSE etc. My philosophy revolves around these three values: -Encouragement -Inspiration -Discipline I specialize into teaching mathematics and programming, but in some occasions I teach physics too. I have 15 years of experience teaching IB, MYP, Key Stage 3, A-Level, IGCSE Language and Literature, and World Literature. I have taught in multiple countries worldwide. My expertise lies in exam preparation, but I also teach English as an Additional Language and work with younger students. Over the past six years, all my students have passed their exams, with 80% achieving a 6 or 7 in the IB Diploma. My teaching approach is relaxed and student-focused. Learning English is a great way to connect with others whether it's in the professional space or just for fun. English is the most widely spoken language in the world, and is a sought out skill to have. With my course I will teach/improve your English with classes that are all in English, to better immerse the student in the language. With fun games, exercises and non stop English conversation, you will see results and improve your skill, so when you are introduced with the opportunity to speak, you will be ready.

Language Classes: I will focus on teaching grammar via textbook exercises and tailored ones, as well as helping putting grammar into practice through a conversation based class. Cooking Classes: I will teach the basics of Italian Cuisine as well as any more specific recipes. I can spam from easy appetizers to complex desserts and main courses. For all the recipes, the most important ingredient is enthusiasm :)

I am bilingual in English and French, and I am originally from Toronto, Canada. I offer English conversation sessions tailored to your preferences and needs, whether in person or remotely. In addition to that, I obtained a master's degree and studied music. I have solid teaching experience, having taught harp to various audiences for several years. I am also available to provide academic support.

Hello, my name is Robert. To give my classes, I adapt to the people in front of me to facilitate their learning. I try to define the student's goal, his work habits to adapt my courses and choose the most appropriate pedagogy in order to obtain the best possible progress. My goal is to allow you to learn but especially to understand and that in a good mood. Without pressure, no judgment, relaxed atmosphere and good atmosphere guaranteed.

A teacher at heart, I seek at all costs to understand how my student works. Depending on his profile, I then apply simple exercises to boost his work efficiency. I am firmly convinced that all students are capable of success, you just need to identify the method that will work! The secret to success? Exercises ! There are only a limited number of exercises per lesson, so you just need to have done them all at least once to master the lesson as much as the teacher! I offer tutoring from middle school to preparatory class in mathematics and English. I obtained my baccalaureate specializing in mathematics and International Option with honors before being admitted to preparatory class at Collège Stanislas. I obtained the following marks in the English oral exams: 20 at HEC, 19.5 at ESSEC and 19 at ESCP and 19 in the written exam.
