I am an aeronautical engineer and I am well aware of the frustration of not achieving the desired academic results. I was here. A lot of times. I find it very satisfying to teach and to see how my students achieve their goals. I sincerely believe that learning is a privilege and a pleasure. It is my top priority that my students feel this. My level of mathematics, physics and engineering is very competent. Although of course, for very specific topics or doubts, I will have to analyze whether I am able to teach lessons with ease or not. For students who have difficulty I analyze the root of learning problems. And, above all, I try to motivate them. An ideal lesson time would be distributed as follows: 20 minutes question and answer and start from these gaps, 30 minutes to advance, 10 minutes lateral thinking. Beyond these general lines, there is no rule or magic method. Some things work with some students and not with others. Adapting to needs is really the goal of private lessons. So I will do my best to find what motivates and helps my student.

Hello ! My name is Jeanne, I am a master's student at Sciences Po Paris. I am in Strasbourg from July to December for an internship, and am looking to give private lessons or help with homework on weekday evenings or weekends. Physics -physics It is one of the branches of science that specializes in studying the structure of matter, as it is concerned with all aspects of nature on the visible and micro levels. In physics, we study many topics related to matter, energy, charges, and others. I am interested in teaching physics so that the information reaches the student completely.

During my high school education in Portugal, I found myself unchallenged and unmotivated by the math curriculum. Seven years later, as a mathematician at the beginning of my academic career, I think I'm an ideal tutor for students in a similar position—interested in math but not quite finding what they need at school. I'm also available to help more advanced students (from university or beyond) who need advice and direction on university-level topics. Additionally, I'm happy to help adults who need help restarting their mathematical education or filling in gaps in their understanding. I'm interested in talking about anything mathematical, from linear inequalities to Hilbert's Nullstellensatz. I'm also familiar with computer science, both in theory and practice. I can easily take the reins and "lecture" on most topics but would prefer to steer towards whatever the student finds interesting. I strongly believe that learning math is an active, creative process. Although I attended high school in Portugal and speak Portuguese fluently, I spent my earlier childhood in the United States. I studied at the University of Coimbra from 2016 to 2021, graduating with a degree in pure mathematics. My final GPA was 19/20, and I received the exclusive "Prémio Doutor Renato Pereira Coelho." My thesis was on geometric control theory, and I maintain an interest in differential geometry. After 8 months working in industry as a computer engineer, I decided that I needed to follow my passion in mathematics and am currently looking to start a doctorate degree. As far as research, I'm broadly interested in stochastic processes, decision theory, and applied category theory.

I am a teacher of mathematics and I give extra hours for private lessons in science subjects. These courses are intended primarily for cycle and college students in Geneva, students in private schools and people who have passed this stage but need to upgrade for professional needs.
