This class is for those interested in history or who need help in their own historical studies. As a Masters graduate in medieval History and Undergraduate of History at the University of St. Andrews I am able to provide in depth understanding of a broad range of historical periods. In particular I can offer great depth on the history of Byzantium, but I have also covered periods such as the ancien regime, Bismarck's Germany, the Japanese Empire, the USSR, the Weimar Republic. If you have a particular interest message me and I can see if I could produce a course on it. If you wish to take a course with me I can offer lectures, active learning lessons and suggest further readings for debate and discussion.

For those studying history I can offer help with answering questions and essay writing as I am currently studying to become a history teacher.

Western Armenian is a language that has been put in the endangered language's list, and I personally believe that such a rich language should never die. I believe that I am taking a huge initiative to be one of the individuals who'll try to save this important language from disappearing.
I try to make my lessons as interacting as possible. The lessons and exercises will be provided through PowerPoint presentations. I try to listen to my student in order to prepare the lesson plan together, according to his needs and preferences.

In primary and secondary school, I had many friends who struggled with specific subjects, which I didn't. It also happened the other way around. It was great to be able to help each other with this. Having a good grasp of your country's history (or the history of a country you are moving to) is important, and to be able to achieve that, you need to be able to understand it in a meaningful way. My goal is to help you do just that! Our lessons will be tailored to your needs and learning styles, and you will be tutored in an attentive and patient environment.

I will tutor and/or teach any era of US History from the founding of Jamestown in 1607 to the beginning of Obama's presidency in 2008 (which is roughly where most high school and middle school U.S. History textbooks end). If need be, I will stick with students throughout the entire year. Once I am told where we need to start, and I assess what lesson type would fit the student the best, I will begin with our lesson plans.

Classes and tutoring ARE offered year-around, 7 days a week (though availability in terms of time may vary). This is to give students the availability to access help and education throughout the year, anytime, on a schedule that suits their needs.
