Chemistry course for Swiss Maturity (DF and OS level)

I am a graduate of EPFL in chemistry and molecular biology, and a professor of chemistry. I offer support courses in chemistry for the level of Maturity level DF. The classic chapters I cover are:

- The different types of chemical bonds (Lewis, etc.)
- Organic chemistry (stereochemistry and reactivity).
- Chemical balances (Le Chatelier's principle).
- Stoichiometric calculations.
- Acids and bases.
- Redox (batteries, Nernst equation, electrolysis, etc.)
- Chemical kinetics.

The math, physics, chemistry, and SVT courses of the French or Swiss program of maturity or university are done by either in-depth explanations or by a quick course and summary of essential needs according to the case of each student supported by exercises from the book or evaluations and exams from other high schools.
A special follow-up program to better prepare for the Terminales session.

A couple of things I like to do:

- Initial test or interview to assess your level.
- Use Notion as a platform to share all my resources.
- Use mock papers that lay out the exercises JUST like in the real exams, so you will feel really prepared.
- I give homework when appropriate.
- I provide any kind of mentoring and college counseling. People who study Biology and Chemistry usually want to pursue a clinical career-- and that is a complex process!
