Dr Lyanh:
I have trained and practiced yoga for over 10 years and worked with several renowned teachers around the world. I teach private, corporate and group classes and am qualified to teach Hatha flow yoga (200RYT), Ashtanga and Hatha (300RYT) and Rocket yoga (50RYT) and Jivamukti yoga (300RYT).
I have also completed several workshops in yoga alignment, adjustments, mindfulness and breath work. I generally teach Hatha flow but would be very happy to change my teachings to suit you.
I am also a qualified doctor so am confident with how the body works and moves, the anatomy, how to help avoid injury and recovery of the body. I will be also able to spot conditions which may need more medical assistance if needed.
There are several benefits of private yoga classes, and these can be in conjunction with group classes or as frequent as you need according to your personal schedule.
Private yoga lessons are the ideal opportunity to explore certain yoga postures with correct alignment (without the intimidation or worry in a large group class). There will be time to ask questions or discuss areas of personal interest including anatomy, yogic philosophy, concerns or goals. Example of goals may be core strength, balance, flexibility or mental health relaxation or specific injuries such as low back pain or recovery from a torn ligament.
Each class is tailored to fit your individual needs with options to discuss areas of improvement.
