In mijn online lessen zullen we focussen op conversatie, om je spreek- en luistervaardigheid te verbeteren, zodat ook jij straks deze talen goed spreekt! Het is belangrijk om te oefenen met het spreken, en het maken van fouten is helemaal niet erg! Integendeel; het is goed om te proberen en foutjes zijn de perfecte manier om beter te worden. Uiteraard kan ik je ook helpen met grammaticale vragen of specifieke projecten. Afhankelijk van je interesses, persoonlijkheid en niveau zal ik je lessen vormgeven. Ik neem het lesgeven serieus, maar probeer de lessen gevarieerd en plezierig te maken!

Ik heb een passie voor vreemde talen, en uiteraard is het Nederlands mijn moedertaal. Ik ben een sociaal, geduldig, behulpzaam en reislustig persoon, en ik pas me gemakkelijk aan. Hierdoor zijn mijn lessen leuk en efficient, met veel kans om je spreek- en luistervaardigheid te oefenen!
Ik werk niet met een vaste methode, maar samen zullen we bespreken wat je wensen en behoeften zijn. Alle niveaus zijn welkom!

Education

Ik heb International Tourism Management & Consultancy gestudeerd aan de NHTV in Breda (nu Breda University), waarvan 3 jaar in het Engels. Ik heb in Spanje een Spaans cursus gevolgd ter aanvulling van de cursus op de hogeschool, bij het Don Quijote instituut in Valencia.
Toen ik eenmaal in Guatemala woonde, heb ik mijn Spaans verder verbeterd tot een niveau C2.

Expérience / Qualifications

Ik heb van jongs af aan Engels geleerd. Op de middelbare school heb ik 6 jaar Frans geleerd en 5 jaar Duits. Op de hogeschool ben ik begonnen met Spaans studeren.
In Guatemala heb ik 5 jaar op een gerenommeerd taleninstituut gewerkt. Ik heb studenten van allerlei nationaliteiten bijgestaan voor vragen rondom de taal en cultuur. Ook heb ik samen met anderen didactisch materiaal ontwikkeld en een samenwerking opgezet met het Cervantes Instituut in Spanje. Dit alles heeft ervoor gezorgd dat ik een goede basiskennis heb van het taalonderwijs, en de verschillende methodieken en niveaus.

Ook heb ik gewerkt als landencoördinator in Guatemala voor een Amerikaans vrijwilligersbureau, en heb ik verschillende vertaalopdrachten gedaan van Spaans naar Engels.

Tegenwoordig heb ik een eigen bedrijf in het toerisme, waar ik dagelijks in contact sta met klanten van over de hele wereld. Ik communiceer dagelijks in 3 talen; Nederlands, Engels en Spaans, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
Ik heb meerdere certificaten op het gebied van internationaal toerisme en duurzaamheid.
