Hello dear friends,

I am Mehmet Emin, an English Teacher, working as an English Teacher at Doga Koleji in Turkey. I have years of experience in this field. In addition, I prepared students for exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, YDS (Academic English Exam in Turkey) with the private lessons I gave. Not only that, I helped people of all ages who wanted to learn English from scratch in their English learning process. I have been giving Turkish lessons for a long time, mostly to Russian citizens. Moreover, I also teach French at the school where I work. Thanks to the learning psychology and linguistics courses I took at the university, I can help individuals in their language acquisition and learning processes much better. In addition, I received TQUK Endorsed Level 7 Diploma in TESOL, not just limited to the courses at the university. I have adopted the motto that each person learns in different ways and in different processes, that each individual needs the motivation to learn, and that just as I contribute something to myself, I also convey what I know to people and add something to them. How nice of you to decide to learn English. The biggest step in your English learning adventure is not to hide behind excuses such as "I understand but I can't speak, I can't learn anyway, I don't have the ability to learn a language". I am aware of how important learning a language is and how sensitive it is. I am a professional teacher and a Ph.D. candidate in Curriculum and Instruction. I not only have a strong academic background but also field experience at outstanding schools. I am graduated from a Teacher-High School in which teacher candidates are grown from their 13, so I confidently say that I came up through the ranks.

I am teaching four international curriculums (IB, IGCSE, MYP, and A-Level). Sessions are 60 minutes and a timekeeper is used. The question-answer technique is used in the sessions. Curriculums of K-12 are spiral. That makes coherency the base of my sessions; therefore, I am not only covering the pre-requisite knowledge but also providing hints about the next years' same topics and discussing them with my students.
