Physics -physics It is one of the branches of science that specializes in studying the structure of matter, as it is concerned with all aspects of nature on the visible and micro levels. In physics, we study many topics related to matter, energy, charges, and others. I am interested in teaching physics so that the information reaches the student completely.

During my high school education in Portugal, I found myself unchallenged and unmotivated by the math curriculum. Seven years later, as a mathematician at the beginning of my academic career, I think I'm an ideal tutor for students in a similar position—interested in math but not quite finding what they need at school. I'm also available to help more advanced students (from university or beyond) who need advice and direction on university-level topics. Additionally, I'm happy to help adults who need help restarting their mathematical education or filling in gaps in their understanding. I'm interested in talking about anything mathematical, from linear inequalities to Hilbert's Nullstellensatz. I'm also familiar with computer science, both in theory and practice. I can easily take the reins and "lecture" on most topics but would prefer to steer towards whatever the student finds interesting. I strongly believe that learning math is an active, creative process.

I am a teacher of mathematics and I give extra hours for private lessons in science subjects. These courses are intended primarily for cycle and college students in Geneva, students in private schools and people who have passed this stage but need to upgrade for professional needs. As a result, I am generally available within 3 days of your request, I also travel to the canton of Geneva via the TPG, and travel costs are included in my rates. Hello, my name is Víctor and I am graduated in Mathematics with a Master's Degree in Applied Statistics. Mathematics is a huge scientific area and I consider that a way to understand the maths and its complexity is though exercises. However, the first step is to know the theoretical aspects. The lessons will be organized in two parts: the first one will be theoretical and the second one practical. The objective is to have a quick overview of the applied theory in each exercise to use it in similar exercises. Each student will follow each own path and that will also be discussed during the lessons. Depending on the student level and objectives some modifications will be done in our way of working. If the purpose of the lessons is to pass an exam, we will adapt our way of working and will focus on understanding the theory quickly to do as much exercises as possible.

Graduated in mathematics and physics, I offer help to students with difficulties in these two subjects by taking with them the key points of the courses and help them with their homework or webcam. Do not hesitate to contact me for a first request, I usually respond within 24 hours but then it takes a short time of a few hours for apprentices to send you the message.
