A course combining the two disciplines of singing (vocal technique: breathing, support, placement, resonators, projection and techniques specific to the repertoire of Musical Comedy such as Belting) and theater: construction of a character, work on its psychology and its corporality, reflection on the stakes of the song at this moment of the story, how to intelligently associate the music and the intentions of the game. I can also offer you coaching specifically dedicated to preparing for auditions for shows or companies, and entrance auditions into performing arts schools. A few words about my background: A teacher of musical comedy, singing and theatre for 15 years, I have taught in several professional training establishments such as the Studio International des Arts de la Scène and the Académie des Arts de Paris as well as structures for amateurs (children and adults) such as the Université Paris Sorbonne or the M'Art Studio in Marrakech (Morocco). My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run.
