Graduated from Georgetown University (Washington, DC, USA). With over 7 years of experience teaching in Italy, Peru, and Spain. I am also fluent in Spanish and Italian, and proficient in French. I believe that learning a language should be a dynamic and engaging process, where priority is given to speaking and listening, especially since the student can study grammar on their own. While I can obviously clarify grammar questions during classes, I believe that the best use of a student's time is speaking and listening with a native speaker. I have taught students from all walks of life, and many have been surprised by the speed of their progress: with the most advanced methods in the field, which are also engaging and dynamic, language learning can be easy and even fun! I am very patient, welcoming, and dynamic. I can travel all over Barcelona city, and to start, I prefer to meet at a coffee shop.

My experience? One of my first studies was Fontys Lerarenopleiding (Tilburg) to be a Spanish teacher. Part of this was teaching Spanish to teenagers at a high school, being a Dutch tutor for my university classmates, and staying in Madrid to study at the University of Nebrija for a month. I have something like 10 years of experience in teaching classes: individual and group, with children and adults, online and face to face. I live in Spain (now in Barceloneta) with my partner since 2019, I have studied in Chile for 5 months and 3 months in Mexico for my master's degree. I am a recently graduated psychologist, I provide reinforcement classes for preschool, primary or ESO students. My goal is to help them understand the concepts and be able to apply them to tasks, also help them do their homework and prepare for exams.

If you are about to learn any of these languages - you obviously have a purpose. I am not going to give you exercises from books, that’s not how it actually works. We will work on something else - understanding. First of all, i can explain you or your child WHY do you need a language, and then just teach :)

As an experienced and qualified teacher of Science, Maths, and English I offer two different sets of classes. I have taught in high schools in Ireland for three years and before that I completed a degree in Medicinal Chemistry. English as Second Language Learning another language is a difficult process and at different times your needs will vary. At times more focus on grammar and vocabulary is needed to help you reach the next level of understanding. At other times a focus on pronunciation and conversation is needed to enhance your fluency. At this class the teaching will be adaptive to your needs and we can set common goals together. Science and Maths Preparing to undergo exams can be daunting and it is much better to keep up with your class as opposed to falling behind and trying to catch up while under pressure right before your exam. In this class we will go over what you are learning at the minute on your course as well as looking forward to the next topics so that you are prepared when your teacher introduces it in class. This will avoid feeling lost moment that happens when new topics are introduced and will help you get the most out of your teachers instructions.

I'm a native English tutor who is also fluent in Russian and French. I have previously worked as a translation lecturer at University College London and as a private English tutor.
