We all know that learning a language is much easier when we are younger so why not give your child a head start. Studies show that learning a second language has many social and cognitive benefits such as improved memory, better focus and attention skills as well as improved empathy and more open mindedness.

I am a native English speaker with 12 years international teaching experience. I can help with schoolwork if your child already studies English or we can work on a personalised curriculum (age and skills dependent). Length of class to be discussed. (Age dependent)

I am a qualified English teacher from England. I obtained my bachelor's degree in linguistics at Lancaster University (UK) and will soon have my master's degree. I have been teaching English for over 3 years to students who wish to improve their English language skills or become bilingual. All my students are satisfied with my course and those who had entrance exams have passed successfully. There is nothing like having English lessons with a qualified English speaker ;-) I have done all my studies in English and in the United Kingdom, I consider English as being my first language among all the other ones I have learned. Being a "native" speaker for me is meaningless, the qualifications are the most important as well as the experience (you could have a "native" speaker who makes a lot of mistakes because this person is not qualified in teaching).

The price of the lessons is moderate compared to the effectiveness of my courses. I use a variety of methods and can easily adapt to the needs of the student. I offer courses at all levels (beginner, advanced to university level) as well as English courses for IELTS/TOEFL, A-LEVELS or correction of written works.

I have worked with children as well as teenagers and adults. My 3 years of experience as a teacher in England have helped me to develop the qualities necessary to motivate my students and teach them effectively.

I can deliver the lessons online anywhere in the world.

I guide students from the age of 18 and prepare them for exams, among other things, based on the material they need to know. An extra support in addition to the weekday lessons. Adults can contact me for professional or non-professional purposes and are coached according to the needs of their position or as a 'refresher' of the language subjects they have learned at school.

I only teach during the day at my home address in Antwerp and NOT via webcam!

I love to let my students speak because I strongly believe that practice is the key to learning a language and improving your knowledge. During our first lesson we will discuss your goals and level and I will tailor a lesson for you. I like to structure my classes according to topics based on everyday life situations (how you introduce yourself, how to make an appointment, go shopping, go to the doctor, professional language, etc.). We will go through the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. If you are an average person, we will also give some lessons on reading comprehension + speaking. We will put both grammar and vocabulary into practice.

Students may not always be able to follow along well in certain lessons because sometimes things go fast and sometimes just need a little more time to understand certain things. Understanding the subject matter is very important. I therefore offer tailor-made extra lessons for every student! Every student is different and learns differently.
