Hello! My name is Yann, I am a young 27-year-old professional musician with a Master's degree in Jazz Performance from the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne. During the guitar lessons, we will cover: - The technical aspect of the Guitar, the basics of posture and the different playing modes - Understand the extremely versatile role of the Guitar in different styles, teach you collective playing - Familiarization with the handle: find the concepts that allow you to develop a fusional relationship - Develop your ear and theoretical understanding of music I give lessons in my fully equipped music studio in Flon, in the heart of Lausanne. My career as an instrumentalist began a few years ago alongside numerous Swiss artists, including J.NUNN, Roxane, Chelan, and Nnavy. I have performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Paleo, Cully Jazz, Les Docks, and Caribana, as well as at numerous events throughout Switzerland, as well as in France, Germany, and the Netherlands. I give between 60 and 70 concerts per year. I also have several experiences as a musician, producer and composer in professional studios in France, Norway and Switzerland. Today, I want to share my experience with you and pass on what I have learned and what I am learning!

We planned an alternative lesson format for my 9 year old son who is not a traditional learner and can be anxious of new people. Melanie took this in her stride and put my son at ease right from the beginning. The point of the lesson was to increase confidence in speaking French.. Melanie appealed to his interests and made sure the topic was engaging while at the same time being patient with his quirky nature. Melanie has a mature and professional attitude to her tutoring and I would recommend her.
