I will teach you core skills in art & design, whether that's in painting, drawing or digital (art) painting & drawing. I provide detailed resources, including PowerPoints and reference images to guide you through key art skills, along with the GCSE and A-level curriculum. I can also provide guidance to applying for a degree course (portfolio preparation). I can go through your art, whether that's sketchbooks, paintings or portfolios to give you detailed feedback and identify clearly how you can improve. I can give live demonstrations during the lesson of painting/drawing, whether that's physical painting or digital painting (on a tablet).

Learn digital sculpture with ZBrush through an artistic and practical approach. These lessons are designed for artists who want to learn how to create characters, creatures, figures and original designs in 3D, whether your goal is concept art, character development, digital art or 3D printing. Rather than simply learning software tools, we will focus on the artistic decisions behind a successful sculpture: form, anatomy, proportions, silhouette, shapes, design and how to translate an idea into a convincing 3D piece. Depending on your goals and experience, we can work on: • Digital sculpting fundamentals and ZBrush workflow • Human anatomy and figure sculpture • Character and creature design • Developing an idea or concept into a 3D sculpture • Creating interesting shapes, silhouettes and visual details • Improving an existing sculpture or portfolio piece • Preparing a sculpture for 3D printing when relevant • Presenting your work through lighting and rendering The lessons can be adapted to beginners who are completely new to digital sculpture, as well as more experienced artists who want feedback and guidance to improve their work. You can also bring your own character, concept or ongoing sculpture and we can develop it together during the lesson.

Learn digital illustration through personalized lessons focused on the areas you want or need to improve the most. The classes are adapted to your current level, artistic goals, and the kind of work you want to create. We can explore different illustration techniques and approaches, including black-and-white artwork, grayscale painting, full-color illustration, character-focused pieces, and more stylized or rendered work. Rather than following the exact same program for every student, the lessons can focus on the techniques that are most useful for your development. Depending on your goals, we can work on composition, color theory, lighting, anatomy, perspective, shape language, character design, visual storytelling, concept art, game art, and other fundamentals of digital illustration. You can also bring your own illustrations, sketches, studies, or personal projects to class. We can analyze what is working, identify areas that could be improved, and work directly on the skills necessary to take your artwork further. The goal is not only to learn specific tools or techniques, but also to develop a stronger understanding of the artistic decisions behind an illustration and gradually build a workflow that works for you.
