Trusted teacher: My name Is Camilo and I am an Experienced international chess player that speaks English, French, and Spanish. I am a 1700+ rated chess player that has participated in clubs and tournaments throughout my career with 5 years of tutoring experience. Being trilingual has allowed me to teach people from all over the world. I first began by helping children with their French and Spanish as well as their organizational skills. However, I ended up gravitating toward my passion which is chess. I have various courses and modules prepared for each session. I also adapt very well to the level of experience of each student and what their goals are. Over three years I have developed a syllabus for my students, which includes: lesson 1 Chess Board and Pawn movement, Lesson 2 Review of Pawns, Lesson 3 The Bishops, Lesson 4 the Rooks, lesson 5 the Knights and the Queen, Lesson 6 the King and Checkmate, Lesson 7 Pawn Promotion and Stalemate, lesson 8 Castling, Lesson 9 Drawn games, lesson 10 Checkmate, Lesson 11 opening principles, and the Lesson 12 forking. This method has shown to help all of my students but as I said before I am happy and very capable of adapting to each student. This, of course, means that for my more advanced students I have a different syllabus for them more advanced lessons like for example “Pinning”. I also always prepare a puzzle for each session to challenge my students in various ways. I love tutoring because I am still young and therefore tend to develop great relationships with my students. Chess is of course my passion so joining both is a dream of mine. I tend to teach younger students from ages 6-18 but don't mind other age groups. I worked with children that went to my old school which is the Lycee Francais de New York. Feel free to contact me at any time, I will really try my best to work with your schedule. I hope you will give me an opportunity to help you because this is truly an amazing game!

Michael - Chamartín48€
Trusted teacher: This class is perfect for high school students (Key Stage 2, 3, or 4 / GCSE level) who are either finding mathematics a struggle or have simply lost their motivation and enthusiasm for the subject. The focus is not just on curriculum mastery, but on transforming their relationship with math by making it relevant, enjoyable, and accessible. 🎯 Core Objectives Reignite Interest: We connect mathematical concepts directly to the student's hobbies, interests, and real-world scenarios (e.g., gaming, music, finance, sports). Fill Knowledge Gaps: We systematically identify and close foundational gaps that are holding them back, ensuring a smooth path to current and future curriculum topics (Cambridge, Edexcel, or general syllabus). Build Confidence: Through positive reinforcement and successful application, we replace anxiety with self-assurance, encouraging students to tackle complex problems. ✨ Why Choose This Class? Seven Years of International Expertise: With at least seven years of teaching experience in international schools, I specialize in adapting complex curricula (like Cambridge and Edexcel) into clear, digestible, and engaging lessons for diverse learners. The "Why" Before the "How": My approach focuses on explaining the purpose and real-world application of mathematical concepts, making the material stick and inspiring genuine curiosity. Flexible Curriculum Support: Whether the student is working on Key Stage 2 fundamentals, Key Stage 3 algebra, or preparing for GCSE/IGCSE exams (Key Stage 4), the sessions are customized to their exact syllabus and needs.

Trusted teacher: Are you looking for comprehensive support for your child's learning? My name is Monica, a student of Psychology and Primary Education, specializing in PT and mathematics, and I give personalized private lessons for boys and girls in Primary and ESO Education. My sessions are designed not only to improve academic performance, but also to encourage emotional management, motivation and organization. What do I offer? Gamified and Dynamic Classes: We turn studying into a fun experience through educational games that reinforce knowledge. Gamification makes learning motivating and helps them get naturally involved in the most complex topics. Focus on Emotional Management: Emotions play a fundamental role in learning. In my classes, I teach children to identify and manage their emotions so that they can face both academic and personal challenges with confidence and resilience. Adapted Montessori Methodology: I promote the autonomy and responsibility of each student, adapting Montessori elements so that they learn to organize themselves, work at their own pace and make decisions in their learning. This approach reinforces their self-confidence and ability to manage their time. Study and Organization Skills: Each student learns to plan, organize their studies, and use effective concentration techniques. These habits are essential for their success, not only in the educational stage, but also in their long-term development. My classes are tailored to the needs of each child, ensuring an individualized learning process and a close relationship. I also insist on continuous communication with families to share progress and goals, helping parents to always be informed about their children's development. If you are looking for a private tutor to support your child in all areas of learning, as well as sessions to learn study skills, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am here to make learning a complete, personalized and enriching experience.

Nick's approach is patient and thorough, informative and imaginative as well. He always comes up with his own examples in order to test my knowledge on a given exercise and helps me get to the answer at my own pace, rather than handing it to me. He doesn't use a one-size-fits-all method, but rather tailors his lesson in order to get out my full potential, even in a field I find difficult. He makes himself available for additional questions and is overall great to work with!
