--- 🧾 Lesson description: NT2 Dutch for Beginners (A1–A2) – Apprendo Learning objective: The "Dutch as a Second Language for Beginners" course helps students from non-Dutch backgrounds express themselves confidently in everyday life. The emphasis is on practical communication, expanding basic vocabulary, and introducing them to Dutch culture. Target audience: Adults with little to no knowledge of Dutch (entry level 0–A1). Ideal for newcomers, expats, migrant workers, or international students. Learning objectives at the end of the module: Get to know each other and introduce yourself (name, age, country, job) Ask and answer simple questions about everyday situations Shopping, traveling by public transport, making an appointment Basic grammar: verb conjugation in the present tense, articles, interrogative sentences Expand vocabulary to approximately 800–1000 words Understanding short listening and reading texts on everyday topics Teaching method: Interactive lessons that alternate between speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The lessons cover topics such as living, work, health, and leisure. There's plenty of opportunity for speaking and practicing in pairs or small groups.
