I achieved a First Class Honours degree in International Modern Languages, majoring in Italian and Spanish, throughout my degree I undertook the study of a wide variety of other languages such as, Portuguese, German, French and Swahili. Thanks to my academic studies in languages, I know what is required to succeed and excel in language learning and would love to pass on my knowledge and passion for the English language and provide my students with the techniques and methods that I have acquired throughout my language learning. I was awarded a distinction in my TEFL Certification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and this course has provided me with requisite tools to help any learner of English to achieve their learning goals. I have a profound knowledge of English grammar and syntax and would love to assist anyone who struggles in these areas. In Spain, I completed teaching practice experience in a primary school where I delivered lessons to children from the ages of 5 to 15 years of age. I also gave private tutoring lessons to secondary level students where we focussed mainly on exam preparation and conversation practice. I have also worked as a freelance translator for a translation company where I furthered my knowledge of languages, translation and interpretation and I have also worked as a literary translator for a publishing company where I translated a novel that will soon be published. I am currently working in Milan as an English language teacher where I provide private and group lessons.
